In her new single, “Typa,” GloRilla details her checklist for a man over a watery sample of Keyshia Cole’s 2005 hit “Love.” Naturally, then, Cole simply had to make an appearance in GloRilla’s new Benny Boom-directed video for the single, as the two share their thoughts on love over mimosas overlooking a gorgeous view of the bay.
The video also co-stars Xavier Legette of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, who receives a lot more than footballs in his role as Glo’s love interest. Glo looks on as he conducts some shady-looking business, then the two cuddle up throughout the video, even going so far as sharing an extremely convincing kiss, leaving fans to wonder if Glo might be soft-launching a real-life relationship.
For what it’s worth, if she is, she wouldn’t be the only rap star perusing the NFL’s rosters for suitable boyfriend material. Glo’s peer (and cousin!) Cardi B has also been romantically linked to another wide receiver, Stefon Diggs of the New England Patriots.
Glo, who has been working on her sophomore album, is set to perform at the 2025 BET Awards, which also just revealed Keyshia Cole as a performer in its second wave of announcements. Could that mean that they’ll be performing together? I wouldn’t be surprised.
The Weeknd is a paranoid parishioner in his new video for “Baptized In Fear.” The haunting video is shot in and around an old church, fitting the theme of baptism, with eerie statues transforming in ghostly ways.
“Baptized In Fear” is the latest video from Abel’s new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, following clips for “Open Hearts,” “Cry For Me,” and “Drive,” although technically, you might be able to count the whole of The Weeknd’s new film, Hurry Up Tomorrow, as one big music video for the album.
Since the album’s release, The Weeknd has been one busy auteur, promoting the film while preparing to launch his After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which kicked off in May and is set to continue into September. In that time, he joined frequent collaborator Playboi Carti onstage at Coachella, where he also participated in a meet-and-greet with movie co-star Jenna Ortega. Then, he released a remix of his and Carti’s single “Timeless” featuring breakout star Doechii, crashed a college graduation party with late-night host Jimmy Fallon, and most unexpectedly, announced that he might not be retiring his “The Weeknd” persona after all, despite spending much of the past two years promising he’d be just plain old Abel Tesfaye from now on. He’s just full of surprises.

Oscar Maydón had a major moment last month, when his and Fuerza Regida’s collaboration “Tu Boda” was nominated for Best Latin Song. The track comes from Maydón’s new album Rico o Muerto Vol. 1 (which translates to Rich Or Dead Vol. 1), which was released last night (June 5).
Also available now is a video for “Asquerosamente Rico” (“Disgustingly Rich”), a new collaboration with Peso Pluma.
Maydón says of the album:
“Rico o Muerto Vol. 1, starting with the name alone, represents who we are, as people, as a label, as a family. This is, without a doubt, the best album I’ve made in my career. We’ve matured musically, from the lyrics to the melodies. It’s an album that took an entire year of work, and I carry it in my heart because it wasn’t easy. It took time to bring the right people together, to build each collaboration with intention. Every track was chosen with care. This album tells our story, our life and hunger to take our music to every corner of the world.”

Finneas and Ashe have some history. He co-wrote her 2019 single “Moral Of The Story” (which is nearing a billion streams on Spotify right now), then in 2021, they collaborated again on the duet “Till Forever Falls Apart.” The two are apparently super happy with how well their collaborations have gone, so much so that they’re getting back at it again: The duo have formed a new band, The Favors.
Their debut album is called The Dream, and a press release cites The Mamas And The Papas; Carole King; Crosby, Stills & Nash; Simon And Garfunkel; and Fleetwood Mac as influences. That’s clear to see on the new single they shared today, “The Little Mess You Made.”
Ashe told Rolling Stone of the track, “The last time the world heard us together, it was on such a sweet, tender song and we loved the idea that out the gate you get to hear us fighting for our lives, fighting with each other.”
Finneas added, “I think a first single has to go out into the world as your representative in a kind of a funny way — there are a couple jazzy tunes I love on this album, there’s a couple ballads I love, but if they had been the first single, you might be lead to believe that we made a jazz album. This song felt like it encompassed the project in a nice way. An introduction to the favors if you will.”

They just don’t make Hollywood stars like they used to.
Back in cinema’s golden era—before influencers flooded the feed, actresses weren’t just performers; they were icons. They dominated magazine covers, fueled public fascination, and sparked the kind of buzz we now reserve for pop stars. Who is she wearing? Who is she dating? And how early can we get tickets to her next film? That kind of magnetic pull is rare today. Few can blur the lines between “it girl” and “leading lady” — you know, walking the Met Gala carpet with the same “je ne quois” they bring to the silver screen. The truth is, there just aren’t many stars out there that are ls effortlessly cool, impossibly stylish, and undeniably real—even when draped in head-to-toe couture. Zendaya, however, is the exception to this rule.
This weekend, she’s nominted for Best Actress at the 2025 BET Awards — a celebration of her captivating performances in films like Challengers, where she plays the formidable tennis star Tashi Duncan, the mythical series Dune where she stars as fierce, desert-dweller Chani, and (of course) the HBO series Euphoria where she’s already picked up Emmys and a Golden Globe for her role as the troubled yet impassioned high schooler Rue Bennett.
Somehow, while gracing our screens, she’s still found time to evolve into an all-around fashion siren, picking up the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for the show-stopping looks she brings to fashion show front rows, industry red carpets, and luxury fashion photo shoots. Picking up trophies is a habit for Zendaya, who has been scooping them up since she picked up her first win for Best Style at the 2014 Radio Disney Awards. And, she’ll always be remembered for being the youngest two-time winner for acting in Emmy’s history and the first Black woman to win the Emmy for lead actress in a drama series (twice). Still, there are a ton of famous actresses who have still not quite reached household name status, so how has Zendaya made it to the one name only, upper-echelon of celebrity? It all started in Oakland, California.
Born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, the now 28-year-old star was born in the Bay Area and started her acting and modeling career long before she got her first break on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up in 2010. She played Rocky Blue, a quirky, talented dancer who, along with her best friend, was balancing life as a kid while moonlighting on a professional dance show. In 2015, she starred in another Disney original called KC Undercover but this time around she had more independence to guide the direction of the role. Though early Disney affiliation has proven fertile ground for stars like Miley Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter, being a child star has also historically spelled trouble when it comes to building a serious and sustainable career as an adult. Despite that, Zendaya has not only continued to break that stereotype while also embracing her time at the channel. When fellow actress Carey Mulligan spoke to Zendaya for Variety’s Actors on Actors, she dug into her time as a young actress, saying: “You surely can’t think of yourself as a Disney kid now,” pointing to her role as a drugged out partier in Euphoria or her run as MJ in the blockbuster Spiderman franchise. Zendaya responded, “The thing is, I am. And to a degree, I am grateful for that. That’s where I started, and I learned so much from that experience. It’s just kind of been this slow progression, and I am happy that it’s all been to prove it to myself and not to anybody else, you know? I embrace it a little bit. It’s part of my heritage, to a degree.”
But how does an actress go from Disney star to blockbuster royalty and indie darling (let’s not forget her role in the monochromatic 2021 film Malcom & Marie)? The answer is simple: risk. It’s the same magnetic draw she had wearing a Mugler Cutout robot body suit on the red carpet for Dune: Part Two (shout-out to her collaborator and stylist Law Roach who has been like a style dula to the birth of her fashion evolution), it’s the same confidence that allowed her to take on the role of a strung-out main character after only playing roles where she embodied a funny, charismatic good girl attitude. It’s the same self-knowing that gave her the conviction to play the complicated, fiery role of a love triangle riddled, sport-obsessed, puppet master in Challengers.
With plans to star in another Spider-Man blockbuster in 2026 alongside her fiancé Tom Holland (and rocking a massive … 5 carat rock at the Golden Globes as an announcement, it doesn’t get more Hollywood than that), receiving the late Ronnie Spector’s blessing to portray her in a biopic, and taking on the role of Athena in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, it’s clear that Zendaya’s star is only rising. Her well-deserved recognition as one of the industry’s Best Actress at this weekend’s BET Awards is just another step in a career defined by talent and versatility. And when she inevitably accepts that same distinction from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences someday, we’ll just be proud to say we knew her when. In the era of internet celebrities and TikTok influencers, we deserve a real, talented, fashion-forward actress, and lucky for us, we have Zendaya.
The Kid Laroi’s last two singles, “Aperol Spritz” and “Slow It Down,” were forward and frisky advances from a Don Juan-styled playboy on the prowl for female companionship. But on his latest single, “All I Want Is You,” he takes a different, more earnest tack (perhaps inspired by his relationship with girlfriend Tate McRae?), injecting a bit of yearning and introspection into the wistful, Clams Casino-produced ballad. “All I Want Is You” is Laroi’s first single of 2025, setting the table for a year defined more by romance than ruthless lust.
The budding Aussie superstar is a little over 18 months removed from the release of his debut album, The First Time, and a little under a year from its deluxe edition, which dropped last summer. It was on a song from that deluxe, “Nights Like This Pt 2,” that Laroi first collaborated with Clams Casino; their reunion spells promising things for Laroi’s upcoming follow-up. While he hasn’t shared very much information about the next project, on Twitter (which I am never calling “X,” be serious) he did offer a vague description: “album crazy. trust.” Does that mean he’s all wrapped up or still in the process of recording? Who knows, but for now “All I Want Is You” is an appetizing preview of what’s to come.

With his 2023 debut Religiously. The Album., Bailey Zimmerman established himself as one of country’s biggest rising stars. The project peaked in the top ten of the Billboard 200 and the country chart in the US, and it spawned a handful of top-ten country singles, most notably “Rock And A Hard Place,” which also hit No. 1 on the Hot 100.
That’s quite the act to follow, but that’s what Zimmerman is doing now: Today (June 6), Zimmerman announced Different Night Same Rodeo, his sophomore album. He also shared a video for a new single, “Comin’ In Cold,” a summer-ready romp. (Also look out for a Diplo cameo in the visual.)
He sings of a troublesome old flame in the chorus: “Speak of the devil, she must’ve heard me thinkin’ about her / ‘Cause here she comes and there I go / Different night, same rodeo, I know I know better / But I’ve got a way of holdin’ on to the ones that let me go / Set me on fire, put me out like smoke / She’s a heartbreak comin’ in cold.”

Welcome to SNX DLX, your weekly roundup of the best sneakers to hit the internet. We’re back with a super-sized SNX this week, with eight notable drops across the three big brands. Last year, a list of eight was commonplace, an average we could rely on, but this year has proven to be all over the place. Which makes SNX even more vital than ever, we’re committed to bringing only the best of the best across your desk (or more accurately, across whatever device you’re reading this on).
This week, that means the latest MADE in USA sneaker from New Balance, a dope Supreme, Goodenough, and Nike collaboration, a Hayley Wilson-branded SB Dunk, and some seriously fresh Jordans. It’s one of the tougher weeks to decide where best to spend your money, so hopefully we’ve made it just a bit easier for you.
Let’s dive into the best sneakers out this week, and where to find them.
New Balance Made in USA 990v6 Light Mushroom With Moonrock
This year, New Balance has kept big brand collaborations to a minimum, and that would bother us if their in-house output wasn’t so damn strong. This week’s new 990v6 colorway isn’t flashy, it’s not going to bring in loads of hype or get the internet talking. It’s just a great looking shoe, and sometimes that’s all you need.
The new colorway features premium MADE in USA construction, a mesh upper adorned with leather overlays, reflective accents, and an ENCAP midsole with FuelCell foam. The colorway combines grey and beige notes, with a touch of blue on the tongue that pops against the understated base colors.
The New Balance Made in USA 990v6 is out now for a retail price of $199.99. Pick up a pair at New Balance.
Let’s be real, Supreme and Nike collabs aren’t what they used to be. Which is why this week’s three-way collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand Goodenough, Supreme and Nike really stands out — it captures some of the simple magic of the early Supreme and Nike link-ups, the sort of stuff that would break the internet with hype.
The design here is simple — a pristine white leather upper, black box logo branding, and a ponyhair Swoosh with dual branding at the heel. This just might go down as our absolute favorite Air Force 1 of the year.
The Goodenough x Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low is set to drop on June 5th for a retail price of $160. Pick up a pair at Supreme.
WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 Medium Olive and Sequoia
This week Nike is teaming up with the South Korean retailer WORKSOUT for a stealthy reimagining of the Air Max 95. The upper’s design resembles camouflage, with a swirling mix of green tones, but is actually inspired by the WORKSOUT founders’ school uniforms growing up. Still, it’s hard to look at these sneakers and not get a military-influenced camo vibe.
The sneaker sports a single-molded design, reflective paneling, and a streamlined lacing system, which does a lot to make the Air Max 95 feel contemporary. It’s interesting how the brand changed such a legendary shape with a few small design details!
The WORKSOUT x Nike Air Max 95 Medium Olive and Sequoia is set to drop on June 5th at 7:00 AM PST for a retail price of $190. Pick up a pair via the Nike SNKRS app.
The SNDR follows Nike’s new trend of taking discontinued designs out of the vault and breathing new life into them. We’re here for it if it means shoes like the SNDR get a second chance at the spotlight.
First released amid the y2k era, the SNDR sports a zipper closure shrouded design with giant reflective panels, and a subtle zebra stripe design. It’s a vision of the future from 26 years in the past.
The Nike Air Max SNDR Black and Photo Blue is set to drop on June 5th at 7:00 AM PST for a retail price of $190. Pick up a pair via the Nike SNKRS app.
To help commemorate its 30th anniversary, Nike has been dropping a steady stream of Big Bubble AM 95 colorways, and this Bright Mandarin edition is one of our favorites. The sneaker sports a synthetic leather and mesh upper with a white to black gradient, Mandarin accents, and that eye-catching big bubble construction.
A dope sneaker for true Air Max 95 fans.
The Nike Air Max 96 OG Bright Mandarin is set to drop on June 6th at 7:00 AM PST for a retail price of $190. Pick up a pair via the Nike SNKRS app or aftermarket sites like GOAT and Flight Club.
Women’s Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Igloo
Nike
Price:$195
Whoever is in charge of Jordan’s women’s line is absolutely killing it. Women’s sized Jordans have been enjoying some of the best colorways all year and that continues with the Igloo. The sneaker features a patent leather upper in a mix of seafoam and white with a tinted outsole. It’s a simple but effective two-color design.
The Women’s Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Igloo is set to drop on June 7th at 7:00 AM PST for a retail price of $195. Pick up a pair via the Nike SNKRS app or aftermarket sites like GOAT and Flight Club.
Nike SB Dunk Low Pro x Hayley Wilson Black and Court Purple
Australian pro skater and Olympian Hayley Wilson is getting her own SB Dunk colorway. The Hayley Wilson Dunk features a mix of Black and Court Purple colors with a suede and leather upper, an icy outsole, a barbed wire-inspired graphic touch at the heel, altered Nike branding, and UV light-reactive threading that changes color in the sun, giving the sneaker a psychedelic vibe.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro x Hayley Wilson Black and Court Purple is set to drop on June 7th at 7:00 AM PST for a retail price of $140. Pick up a pair via the Nike SNKRS app or aftermarket sites like GOAT and Flight Club.
Fear of God’s latest with Adidas is giving us late 2010s flashbacks. These sneakers harken back to a time when minimalism and earth tones dominated the sneaker conversation. If you want your fit to call back to life before the pandemic, these sneakers will get you there!
The Athletics II features a suede upper with a Lightstrike midsole, a semi-translucent rubber outsole, and embossed heel branding.
The Adidas Fear of God Athletics II High Top is set to drop on June 7th at 7:00 AM PST for a retail price of $200. Pick up a pair at Adidas.

There’s this concept in basketball of “The Big Three,” which has since been imported to music, to somewhat controversial effect. And while there are some who question the viability of the concept (LeBron and Dwyane were basically Jordan and Pippen, and Bosh was basically just an extra?), there’s no doubt that there are certain times in music where it can definitely apply.
If ever there was a Big Three, Ciara, Normani, and Teyana Taylor could certainly qualify, and the result of their collaboration, the “Ecstasy” remix, is one heck of an argument for that opinion. The single, which sets the table for Ciara’s upcoming album, CiCi, gets new verses from Ciara’s successors, who put their own unique spins on its sultry subject matter.
Explaining how she chose Normani and Teyana to join her on the remix, Ciara said in the press release, “Teyana and Normani are true trailblazers, and their voices brought something really special to ‘Ecstasy.’ There’s a real sisterhood between us, and it felt powerful to come together on this remix! We each brought our own sauce to the track. It’s bold, nostalgic and full of energy. The fans have been asking for this, and I’m so proud of what we created.”
And to think — a couple of years ago, people were trying to debate whether R&B was dead. How embarrassing for those people.
You can listen to Ciara’s “Ectasy” remix with Normani and Teyana Taylor above.
CiCi is set to be released on July 11, 2025, by Beauty Marks Entertainment. You can find more info here.
