Kendrick Lamar And SZA’s ‘Luther’ Is Now Their Longest-Running No. 1 Hit On The Hot 100

Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us” was (and continues to be) a cultural phenomenon, but technically, it’s not the biggest hit of his career. That distinction belongs to “Luther,” which has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a fourth week in a row. That breaks a three-way tie with “Not Like Us” and “Like That” at three weeks a piece, while his other No. 1’s — “Squabble Up,” “Humble,” and Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” — were at the top for a single week.

“Luther” is joined in the top 10 by “Not Like Us” at No. 3 and “TV Off” at No. 5.

Billboard adds that SZA also extends her longest No. 1 Hot 100 stay after “she previously topped the chart for a week each as featured on Drake’s ‘Slime You Out’ and with her own ‘Kill Bill,’ both in 2023.” She was also in a hit movie released this year, which is something Lamar can’t say… for a few months at least.

You can check out the top 10 of this week’s Hot 100 below.

Billboard Hot 100 For Chart Dated March 22

1. “Luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA
2. “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars
3. “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar
4. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey
5. “TV Off” by Kendrick Lamar ft. Lefty Gunplay
6. “Apt.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars
7. “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan
8. “Nokia” by Drake
9. “Birds Of A Feather” by Billie Eilish
10. “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims

‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Is Really Bringing Back John Lithgow’s Trinity Killer… Alive. How?

dexter-trinity-killer-lg
Showtime

Dexter Morgan is alive and (physically) well after being saved by the snow (don’t ask, he already defeated a hurricane), and Dexter: Resurrection has been filming up a storm while doing the drip-drip on casting news. In rapid succession, Krysten Ritter, Peter Dinklage, Eric Stonestreet, and David Dastmalchian (who is perfect for this franchise) were announced to join Michael C. Hall in a cast that already included Uma Thurman and returning cast members James Remar, David Zayas, and Jack Alcott.

This rush of news helps to distract people from whether Dexter: Original Sin might be renewed, but something truly strange happened during the course of the revival going to town. Word surfaced that the character of Arthur Mitchell, otherwise known as The Trinity Killer, would appear in Resurrection. And John Lithgow is definitely returning as Mitchell, who isn’t dead. Say what?

The fourth-season Dexter antagonist previously “died” at Dexter’s hammer-wielding hands after Mitchell killed Harrison’s mom, Rita, and nobody really questioned his status. And sure, universe architect Clyde Phillips is developing a Trinity Killer prequel series for Paramount+, but the dude has been considered a goner for many years. Supposedly.

Is Dexter: Resurrection Really Bringing Back John Lithgow’s Trinity Killer… Alive?

It’s happening. And I can’t even get mad at how silly Mitchell’s return will be because if Dexter’s tush is still alive, then anything is possible. Here’s what Lithgow told Variety while discussing his upcoming Dumbledore role in the Harry Potter series:

In another reveal, Lithgow also spilled details about his unexpected return to “Dexter,” despite his character, the Trinity Killer, meeting his end in Season 4.

“I just went back to do a day,” Lithgow disclosed. “They’re rebooting the entire Michael C. Hall version of ‘Dexter.’ And it turns out he didn’t die after all. I come back sort of as a phantom, as he gradually comes to life on a hospital bed.”

Maybe Dexter can get the job done this time. We’ll find out when Dexter: Resurrection surfaces sometime this summer.

We Ranked Every Cookie At Crumbl This Week (Mar. 17 – 22) — The Winner Is A Magically Delicious Marshmallow Treat

crumbl_march_17(1024x450)
Uproxx

Welcome to the Crumbl Cookie Report! Crumbl loves to join in on the holidays in an effort to sell us stuff, giving us an all-pie lineup for Thanksgiving, heart-themed cookies for Valentine’s day, and now, on St. Patrick’s Day, the brand isn’t just delivering Irish-themed cookies, but offering a major discount and as fans of cheap food and great deals, we’re here for it!

For whatever reason, Crumbl is unveiling what it calls “Luck Week,” where you can pick up four cookies for the price of six all week long. We’re not entirely sure why Crumbl is offering such a significant discount (nearly $10) for St. Patrick’s Day and not any of the other holidays, but whatever, we’ll take it! Despite the deal, this week is a little un-even in its offerings. We’ve got some cookies we’re legitimately excited about, and way too many repeats. Which begs the question — is it actually worth it to buy a six-pack box? In any other week, we’d say no, but maybe that’s the genius behind Luck Week!

Here is every cookie at Crumbl this week, ranked from least to most essential.

7. Cookies & Cream Brownie

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

We’re willing to call it now — Crumbl’s Dessert Of The Month initiative was a good idea, but in practice, we’re not digging it. This is now the third week in a row that the Cookies & Cream Brownie has been on the menu, and each week it has felt less and less essential.

Don’t get us wrong, this is a great-tasting dessert; it’s rich, moist, and well-balanced between sweet chocolate and creamy cookies and cream notes, but by now, we’re sick of it. This is an easy skip this week.

The Bottom Line:

If you haven’t had it yet, it’s worth including in the six-pack box. But if you’ve had it this month and it didn’t absolutely blow you away, there is no need to repeat the experience.

6. The Original Pink Sugar

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

The famous Pink Sugar cookie was last on Crumbl’s menu just a month ago, so while we love this cookie, we think it’s a bit too soon to bring it back. That said, if you haven’t had this cookie, you need to try it, it’s the best sugar cookie you’ll ever eat.

The Original Pink Sugar features an almond sugar cookie base topped with a thick layer of almond frosting, resulting in a cookie that is nutty, creamy, and sweet, with gentle notes of cherry.

The Bottom Line:

It’s worth buying a bunch and freezing to have all year round, but we’re a little more psyched on a few other options this week.

5. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

There are far too many recent repeats this week at Crumbl, but if we could have only one it would be the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk. And yes, we’re fully aware that this cookie is available bi-weekly, but there is a reason for that. Chocolate Chip is the only cookie that deserves a bi-weekly repeat, anyone who says otherwise is just taking this amazing cookie for granted.

Each bite of the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk offers a perfect balance of brown sugar, toasted butter, and chocolate flavors. A small pinch of sea salt helps reign in the flavors from coming across as too sweet.

The Bottom Line:

Our favorite chocolate chip cookie of all time.

4. Wildberry Sugar

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

The Wildberry Sugar cookie allows you to pretend you’re making a healthy choice because of the real fruit included in here. Don’t full yourself, this stuff is packed with so much sugar that reading the nutritional facts alone are enough to raise your blood sugar.

The Wildberry Sugar features a light and delicate vanilla cookie base infused with strawberries and blueberries. The berries combine to deliver a sweet, tart, and dark berry blast of flavor in each bite.

The Bottom Line:

A fruity sugar cookie that tastes best warm.

3. Milk Glaze ft. Fruity Pebbles

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

Whether or not you like this cookie entirely depends on if you like Fruity Pebbles. There just isn’t any getting around that artificial fruity flavor here, as this cookie is covered and infused with the cereal.

The cookie’s base is cereal-milk flavored, it has a light creaminess to it that hovers over intense sweetness. The cookie is lightly glazed with a thin milky frosting, and covered in sweet and crunchy Fruity Pebbles. The light and crispy texture of this cookie is incredibly appetizing.

The Bottom Line:

If you’re the sort that likes Fruity Pebbles dry, you’re going to love this cookie.

2. Chocolate Mint Cake ft. Andes

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

All of Crumbl’s Andes collaborations are delicious, and while this one isn’t our personal favorite (that honor goes to the Andes Mint cookie sandwich), it’s hard to bite into this cake and not be filled with joy.

This cake features two layers of moist chocolate cake topped with two layers of semi-sweet chocolate ganache, mint cream cheese frosting, and bits of Andes mints. It tastes, unsurprisingly, like an elevated Andes mint, and that’s not a bad thing.

The Bottom Line:

This one is a no-brainer. If you love Andes mints, this is an easy pick-up. A delicious, rich, and minty chocolatey treat.

1. Mallow Creme ft. Lucky Charms

Dane Rivera

Thoughts & Tasting Notes:

Maybe it’s the St. Patrick’s Day spirit talking, but the Mallow Creme might just be the best cookie to drop at Crumbl this year. Now granted, we have 9 more months to go, but still, this cookie is so damn delicious that it’s worth a trip to Crumbl immediately.

The Mallow Creme features a sweet sugar cookie base infused with white drops, topped with vanilla marshmallow frosting, and a handful of Lucky Charms marshmallows. The marshmallows don’t add too much to the actual flavor, but that’s okay because the base cookie is delicious thanks to its delicate blend of vanilla and white chocolate.

The cookie tastes like what you remember Lucky Charms tasting like, rather than the sugary mess that is the actual cereal. It uses nostalgia as an effective means of bringing you in but delivers an elevated and delicious experience that, pun-intended, comes across like magic.

The Bottom Line:

It’s magically delicious!

Russ Returns With A Trailer For His Upcoming New Album, ‘Wild’

russ

Despite releasing his last album, Santiago, two years ago in 2023, the Jersey-born, Atlanta-based rapper has kept busy in the intervening years. In 2024, he went on his It Was You All Along Tour and made an appearance in M. Night Shyamalan’s musical thriller film Trap.

Now, he’s back with a new album, Wild, his sixth album of a career that has included some impressive career milestones to date. The former Uproxx cover star shared a moody trailer for the album in which he’s seen driving down a deserted highway in a convertible, passing a “leaving Santiago” sign, and previewing some of the new songs as he skips around on the car stereo. When he finally gets to his destination, a dirt path marked “W!LD,” he gets out of the car and issues an exasperated expression before continuing his trek.

Today he followed up with another post, giving fans their first look at the album’s artwork. Unlike the expressive, colorful cover art for Santiago, Wild features a minimalistic, almost totemic illustration of an animal, calling to mind the artwork for his breakout 2017 album There’s Really A Wolf. Perhaps this means a “back to basics” approach for Russ, who has prided himself through the years on his independent status — and on his success. According to captions, the album is due in spring/summer 2025, so we won’t have long to wait to find out what he’s been working on all this time.

UMG Says Drake ‘Lost A Rap Battle That He Provoked’ In Its Motion To Dismiss His Defamation Lawsuit

drake
Getty Image

It was only a matter of time until Universal Music Group filed a motion to dismiss Drake’s defamation lawsuit against the label for promoting Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” But what a doozy of a response it is, even going as far as using Drake’s own words against him.

In documents filed earlier today, according to Variety, UMG said Drake only filed his lawsuit because he “lost a rap battle that he provoked and in which he willingly participated.”

“Instead of accepting the loss like the unbothered rap artist he often claims to be, he has sued his own record label in a misguided attempt to salve his wounds,” it continued. “Plaintiff’s Complaint is utterly without merit and should be dismissed with prejudice.”

Elsewhere, UMG’s legal team notes that Drake himself co-signed a 2022 open letter condemning the literal interpretation of rap lyrics for legal purposes. “Drake was right then and is wrong now,” the motion reads, suggesting that Drake is trying to have it both ways when it comes to literal reading of lyrics. “Complaint’s unjustified claims against UMG are no more than Drake’s attempt to save face for his unsuccessful rap battle with Lamar.”

Universal had previously called the lawsuit “illogical” in its initial response, pointing out how the label had “invested massively in his music and our employees around the world have worked tirelessly for many years to help him achieve historic commercial and personal financial success.” Drake himself maintains that Kendrick’s diss has done damage to his public reputation, from prompting a football arena full of people to sing Kendrick’s “A minor” line to getting him roasted during the otherwise unrelated Oscars broadcast.

The Best Bites At Rolling Loud California 2025

R_L_food(1024x450)
Philip Cosores/Merle Cooper

Anyone who’s been to enough festivals knows: The music is only half of the experience. Food is a big part of the other half (the rest is split between standing and walking, ha). And whether you’re a festival vet or enjoying your first fest, you gotta eat.

Which is why Uproxx is bringing you this list of the best bites from Rolling Loud California 2025. We wanted to highlight local establishments, the sort of places with offerings beyond the typical festival food, as well as being accessible outside the fest.

The five establishments we tried are all either established institutions or well on their way to reaching that status. So, while waiting to catch ASAP Rocky’s gravity-defying set or fueling up to rage out with Playboi Carti, here were the best bets for the best bites at Rolling Loud California 2025.

Prince Street Pizza

Philip Cosores

Best known as one of New York’s favorite places to grab a pie, Prince Street sets itself apart in a city replete with options thanks to its square slices. Prince Street officially came to Los Angeles just after the city reopened post-pandemic (if there is such a thing), with a new location in the Arts District. Then, in 2024, the chain expanded, taking over the iconic Arby’s drive-thru on Sunset Blvd., recommissioning the drive-thru to sling pies for pickup. The sauce is sweet, the pepperoni is liberal and spicy, and the crust is crispy. Prince Street is a hit.

Poutine Brothers

Philip Cosores

Until I started working at Uproxx, I knew I would never try poutine without venturing to the Great White North. The Canadian dish is one of our northern neighbor’s iconic staples; french fries, smothered in gravy and cheese curds, it’s a take on loaded fries that just doesn’t get enough credit for its ingenuity stateside. But thanks to a pair of literal brothers who played hockey in Canada, Poutine Brothers’ food truck makes what once took a lengthy plane ride to become as easily accessible for Angelenos as vegan burgers and Erewhon smoothies. While the menu offers a ton of different toppings, from beef short rib to chicken tikka masala, the Uproxx team opted for the classic. It’s like mashed potatoes and gravy, but crispy.

Kogi BBQ

Philip Cosores

Is it cheating to highlight a decades-old Los Angeles institution? No. Honestly, it should be mandatory to get Kogi anytime one finds oneself within, let’s say, 10 miles of one of Kogi’s fleet of trucks. Chef Roy Choi founded Kogi BBQ back in 2008, seeking to combine the beloved Korean cuisine of his upbringing with the taco truck concept that permeates the streets of LA that he grew up in. On Saturday, the Uproxx team split tofu tacos, which combined the best of both worlds: sweet, spicy, and satisfying.

Wise BBQ

Philip Cosores

People who complain you can’t find good Texas-style barbecue in LA have a reasonably good excuse; it’s mobile. The Wise BBQ food truck finds itself working locales as far-flung as Calabasas, and in addition to gigs for Rolling Loud and Netflix, it’s got a packed calendar that may or may not be updated online. For my money, though, it produced some of the best spare ribs I’ve had since Bludso’s moved out of Compton. “Fall off the bone” doesn’t even begin to describe how tender they were.

Afters

Philip Cosores

A local ice cream chain that spans from Sherman Oaks to Temecula, Afters puts out one hell of a flavor spread. While the pictured flavor, Cookie Monster, is a vanilla-based ice cream with chocolate chip cookies, crushed oreos, and chocolate fudge, the Triple C is a go-to favorite for this writer, thanks to its combo of chocolate chips, chocolate fudge, and caramel in a vanilla base. The perfect desert after stuffing your face at Rolling Loud’s array of food trucks.

Will Regé-Jean Page Ever Return As The Duke In ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4?

Bridgerton
Netflix

Nearly four years after Regé-Jean Page departed from Bridgerton, he still fields questions on whether Simon “The Duke” Basset could resurface. Of course, Page famously left the smash Netflix series after the first season to pursue a movie career (Dungeons & Dragons, The Gray Man, and Black Bag, currently in theaters), a move that initially left fans outraged, although they were actually just fine with a slightly less sexy second season. All three existing seasons are still sitting in Netflix’s Top 10 Seasons Of All Time list, so clearly, the decision didn’t hurt any involved parties.

As time wore forth, Page’s responses on his departure began by calling the role “a pleasure and a privilege” and moved into reminding people that The Duke was actually “horrific” and “a Regency f*ckboy” before his redemption arc. Still, Page is currently doing press for Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag, so the question has come up.

Will Regé-Jean Page Ever Return To Bridgerton?

Negative. As Page told Entertainment Tonight, “It’s not something I’ve thought about very much.” Still, he is “very happy to support everyone who’s in the show,” and he is “super happy” that “everyone’s finding fantastic success but with the show and personal projects.”

Bridgerton‘s fourth season will likely return in 2026. The show’s new romantic focus will be upon “bohemian” sibling Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his courtship with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). The fourth season description includes the following:

Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down. That is, until an enthralling woman captures Benedict’s attention at Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball. While Benedict knows his love interest as only the Lady in Silver, she’s actually Sophie, a resourceful maid with her own secrets and dreams.

The ensemble cast of returning characters includes former focus couples Anthony and Kate (Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley) and Colin and Penelope (Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan). As for The Duke and his crusty blankets, those memories will last forever.

Playboi Carti Created Barely Controlled Chaos At Rolling Loud 2025

R_L_Playboi(1024x450)
Getty Image/Merle Cooper

Midway through Playboi Carti’s raucous, utterly unhinged headlining set at Rolling Loud California, the music cut out, and a voice boomed, “Everybody, take three steps back!”

It isn’t entirely surprising that a crowd control situation unfolded during the unrestrained set. But it’s kind of telling that the reason for the set stopping — a few fans passed out in the front row — was revealed via a live stream from Kai Cenat, who was onstage with Carti while all this was happening.

This is the era we live in now; we’re livestreaming events from the stage that are being streamed by the festival itself, while practically the entire crowd also streams. We’re in the information overload era, and Playboi Carti is the perfect artist for the moment.

If you felt overstimulated during Carti’s set, which featured flamethrowers periodically going off, strobe lights, smoke machines, lasers, and seemingly as many people on the stage as there were in the crowd, congratulations: You’re old enough to remember a world before we had screens in our pockets, screens on our laps, screens on our desks, and screens on our walls, all going at the same time, and all showing us different things.

But for Carti’s audience, this is all just par for the course; at any given moment, there are about a half dozen global disasters, at least a handful of local ones, and more than one persistent personal problem vying for their attention at the same time, all a notification, a finger swipe, a DM, or an algorithmic update away. All. The. Time.

No wonder they just want to rage.

The reason Carti captures the imagination, the reason he’s the go-to features artist despite the artists who request his presence not even knowing what he’s saying in his verses (if you can call his utterances “verses” in the technical sense), is he knows how to harness all this chaos — and he understands that the only way to speak to it is with disruptive, expressionist performances like this one.

Maybe the only way to cut through all the noise is to be noisier than everything demanding our attention. To overload your senses with stimuli, to the point you have to seek him out in the maelstrom just to have a singular point of focus. It certainly seems to have helped the reception to Carti’s new album Music, which he finally released after months of delays, seemingly on a whim. His Rolling Loud set was its official live debut.

Full disclosure: I caught the set from the comfort of my couch via the official Rolling Loud livestream on TV, with the volume turned down as low as I could get it and still hear. I’m about 75% convinced something in my body would have given out entirely if I’d witnessed all this live, overwhelmed by the lights and music and people on stage (I saw Kai, and Chow Lee, and the rest of Carti’s Opium crew, and Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq, and I think Nettspend, and a dozen others who are all moving around too much to keep track of). The Weeknd even popped out for a bit to sing along(?) to the two artists’ collaboration “Timeless.”

I get it: I’m Batman, these new kids are Bane. I knew a world before the unhinged world of YouTube and SoundCloud and a half-dozen video apps and Find My Phone and daily “look at me” governmental chaos. Carti’s for those who were born into this bedlam. They’ve got the requisite tools — or maybe they lack them — to be able to process all this and find something to relate to within it.

It’s a primal scream for a world in which nothing much we do seems like it’ll make an impact — and honestly, I’m as impressed by Playboi Carti as I am a little scared of him and his followers. He’s hit a specific note, found an aggressive channel that can actually cut through and leave a lasting impression. He makes the music of the moment. It’s Carti’s world. We’re all just residents.

ASAP Rocky Elevated His Game —Literally — In His Return To Rolling Loud

R_L_asap_rocky(1024x450)
Getty Image/Merle Cooper

There was a lot riding on ASAP Rocky’s return to Rolling Loud in Inglewood, California on Saturday night. He’s had a rough couple of years. He’s been pushing a new album, Don’t Be Dumb, since late 2022, but has dealt with delay after delay, to the point he recently acknowledged that “people are tired of hearing about updates about the album.”

He was also recently acquitted in court, allowing him to address the situation in a new song, which he appropriately debuted during his headlining performance at Rolling Loud California Saturday night.

With expectations so high, it’s fitting that Rocky sought to rise above them all — both figuratively and literally — as he closed the festival where he’s always seemed most at home.

Say what you want about his last album — 2018’s Testing, which was less well-received than he’d have liked — or the seemingly interminable wait for his new one, but Rocky has always delivered when it comes to performances, and Rolling Loud 2025 was no exception.

In addition to performing a handful of new songs (presumably from the upcoming album), Rocky offered the sort of spectacle fans have come to expect from his ambitious sets. From storming stages with an army of crash dummies to bluntly referencing his encounter with the Swedish prison system, Rocky has always used his live show to keep his name buzzing near the upper echelons of rap. That’s despite a much lower pace of new releases than some of his contemporaries, which include Big Sean, Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Wale, among others.

And with his return to Rolling Loud — and the public stage, writ large, after spending so much time avoiding the spotlight and making babies with Rihanna — he had to elevate his game. So, performing the first three songs of his set from a helicopter suspended over the stage makes for a great way of doing just that (and maybe even subtly referencing his partner’s Super Bowl performance, which also saw her defying gravity like a certain green witch of the west).

But there’s no way Rocky would have ever been satisfied with so much distance between him and the crowd. After rappelling down to the stage, he pulled out all the stops, inviting a massive crew of backup dancers to bring the energy — not that he needed the help. It was just the sort of performance that helped boost newcomers like Doechii into the spotlight, and launch peers like Kendrick Lamar into the pop culture stratosphere over the last year.

Such a performance sets the table for Rocky to relaunch his campaign for Don’t Be Dumb. Whether or not anticipation for the album waned as Rocky feared, his headlining set at the premiere hip-hop festival puts him squarely back in the limelight, while the new songs he previewed suggest a return to form on the music side of things, too. Thanks to his Rolling Loud set, the only thing that could stop ASAP Rocky now is ASAP Rocky.

Elsewhere on the first day, performers like Sexyy Red, Peso Pluma, and Larry June gave fans what they wanted, while a redesigned festival ground opened up some interesting possibilities with scheduling. Having the Zig-Zag and D’usse stages side-by-side allowed fans who wanted to take in more underground artists the ability to do so without having to traverse the festival grounds, while swapping the VIP section to the east side of the GoPuff main stage opened the section up with more space and allowed GA fans better views of the stage (getting INTO the VIP was kind of a pain though, thanks to its entrance at the opposite end from the stage).

And speaking of high expectations… Gelo impressed as much as anyone. A late addition to the festival lineup propelled by the viral reception of his unexpectedly good debut single “Tweaker,” Gelo proved he had more where “Tweaker” came from, debuting a new song that prompted an enthused reaction from the crowd with a similar, throwback sound to his breakout hit. The hooper turned rapper really might be the dark horse pick for breakout of the year.

Meanwhile, other, like the food truck lane off to the side of the main avenue and the smokers’ pavilion, provided a comforting continuity with prior editions of the festival. Rolling Loud continues to make effective use of the Hollywood Park venue, and while I would have personally preferred the entrances retain the setup from 2023, these are minor quibbles for a fest that has proven its ability to go above and beyond, delivering a unique festival experience that combines the top names in rap with a glimpse at all of its potential futures.

Kali Uchis Announces A New Album, ‘Sincerely,’ With A Glamorous, Candlelit Video

Kali Uchis fans are thriving. The “Never Be Yours” singer has announced a new studio album, Sincerely, her third in three years following 2023’s Red Moon In Venus and 2024’s Orquídeas.

Uchis hasn’t provided the tracklist or release date for Sincerely yet, but she did share an announcement video on social media that finds her stamping a letter on a candle-night night. She’s initially in her sleep clothes before she effortlessly changes into a stylish dress.

During a recent interview with 10 Magazine, Uchis shared that Sincerely was inspired by a “life-altering event” that she’s not yet ready to publicly disclose. “The album is about the complexities of life and finding ways to find joy in life despite the world,” she said. “Finding ways to appreciate every moment and not take life for granted. Treat every day special. It’s my most existential and honest work. It’s definitely the most beautiful body of work to me, and it’s going to be, for me, the most meaningful and impactful.”

She continued, “Listening back to the album after my life-altering event, I was able to hear so many things in the lyricism that fully encapsulate the way that I feel now. In a strange way, it’s like my soul and spirit were able to predict what was coming next. I’ve been able to heal myself through this album in a lot of ways. But I never knew that I was creating it for that purpose.”

You can watch the Sincerely announcement video here.
