Is Doja Cat’s Next Album Called ‘Hellmouth?’

Doja Cat is having a hard time keeping quiet about her new album. She’s also having a hard time telling the truth about it. First, she claimed it had rave influence, and then she said it was a lie and that it was actually R&B-leaning. Finally, she said it would be “predominantly rap,” and began teasing a title.

“DC4 has a title now,” the “Woman” singer tweeted on March 22. She then followed that up with another tweet: “#hellmouth.” Of course, fans proceeded to freak out and conclude that she was officially announced that as the album title, but it’s safe to say that you can never know with Doja.

Yesterday, April 9, she demonstrated her capriciousness once more with another frustrating tweet: “The whole album is no longer rap yall its rock/spoken word and the album title is not Hellmouth anymore.” A minute later, she tweeted, “Album is called Moist Holes.”

On April 8, she also took to Twitter to share a screenshot of audio files, apparently leaking upcoming song titles such as “Wet Vagina,” “Balut,” and “Agora Hills.” She continued to confuse fans about what genre she’ll be tackling with the next LP by writing in a tweet, “No more pop.”

The Indiana Fever held the top pick and for the first time in some time, there was real hope for bringing in a timeline-altering player to the franchise that has missed the playoffs each of the past six seasons. Don Lemon Was Caught On A Hot Mic Appearing To Diss Jon Stewart For Getting ‘A Lot Of Leeway’ As A Comic

Don Lemon’s been having a rough time lately, what with his controversial comment about GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley not being “in her prime.” Even Michelle Yeoh gave him crap for that one. This probably won’t help: On Monday, the CNN co-host was caught on a hot mic appearing to diss Jon Stewart.

As per The Daily Beast, CNN This Morning ran a segment on the Daily Show alum’s latest viral sensation, in which he called out the Defense department for having a ginormous budget that still somehow lets soldiers go cash-strapped, which he declared “f*cking corruption.”

After the clip aired, but before they cut back to Lemon and company, Lemon’s voice could be heard, saying something about how Stewart “gets a lot of leeway with the comedian thing, though.”

When they cut back, perhaps realizing his off-air discussion had made it onto the soundwaves, Lemon seemingly tried to reverse course, saying, “We were just discussing that Jon Stewart is so much more than a comedian. He is a thought leader.”

Not long after he kept trying to save face. “Yeah, when I was saying comedian and television host, he’s so much more than that,” Lemon told co-hosts Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins. “I don’t even know if you need to qualify Jon Stewart as that. But good interview there.”

Stewart laid low for the first handful of years after leaving The Daily Show in 2015, returning with Apple TV+’s The Problem with Jon Stewart, which finds him routinely taking the powerful to task with exchanges that go viral.

Metro Boomin’s Woozy ‘Too Many Nights’ Video With Future Is Spotlighted By Don Toliver’s Quirky Dance Moves

As the youth say, Metro Boomin is outside. Not only is hit producer outside, he’s bringing his superstar friends Future and Don Toliver with him. The hip hop heavyweights linked up for the woozy yet epic music video for their collaborative song “Too Many Nights” off Metro Boomin’s latest album Heroes & Villains.

Co-directed by Boomin, Hidji World and Zac Facts the musicians show that if they’re going to work hard then they have to party equally as hard. In the late night into the wee hours of the morning shenanigans, the trio hop from a neon dancefloor, strip club, to the studio and more. Don Toliver keeps each location live showing off killer dance moves.

When asked by collaborating with the rapper, Boomin told GQ, “I told [Don Toliver], ‘Like 2001, you’ve got the Nate Dogg role.” The late singer Nate Dogg was famously know for delivering the perfect balance as a guest feature.

Later Boomin was sure to add, “You can still make great songs with them, but as a producer, it’s like, what are you bringing? You’ve got to break artists, you’ve got to bring new artists. That’s a big part of your duty.”

Fellow fashionable rapper A$AP Rocky makes a guest appearance in the visual. Another made an appearance in thoughts, Young Thug, as he is currented incarcerated. As the video closes, the group hold up t-shirt featuring the rapper’s picture with the word “FREE.”

Dan Crenshaw’s Attempt To Boycott Bud Light For Going ‘Woke’ Wound Up Backfiring Spectacularly

Give Dan Crenshaw some credit: He won’t roll with the MAGA trolls flooding Congress, and he’s for the fact that Joe Biden beat Donald Trump. That doesn’t mean he can’t still get into a far right tizzy every now and then. As per The Daily Beast, the Texas representative tried to boycott Bud Light because they dared embrace a progressive practice. But the attempt wound up backfiring spectacularly.

Why was Crenshaw mad at beer? Because Anheuser-Busch, which owns the popular light lager, dared partner with trans TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney. And he wasn’t having it.

“Just saw Bud Light’s stupid ad campaign,” Crenshaw said in an Instagram video, not specifically getting into an anti-trans panic. “So guess what we’re going to do? We’re going to throw out every single Bud Light we have in the fridge.” When he opened the fridge, there was plenty of beer cans, but none of them were Bud Light.

“Alright, well I guess that was easy,” he joked.

Thing is, the fridge was packed with Karbach, a Texas-based craft brewery that, as Houston Chronicle pointed out, is owned by Anheuser-Busch. Whoops! So much for that boycott.

It’s far from the first time Crenshaw has embarrassed himself while trying to appear cool. Who could forget his ridiculous action movie-style video in which he beat up BLM?

George Santos Claims He Has DNA Proof That He Has Jewish Heritage, But He Says He Can’t Share It Just Yet

George Santos hasn’t made too many waves in the last couple months, not like he did late last year and early 2023, when a day wouldn’t go by without some new, wackadoodle tall tale he told being made public. (Last we heard from him he was getting mocked by Jordan Klepper to his face.) But don’t worry, he’s still got it.

As per The Daily Beast, the Jewish news outlet The Forward has a report on the Yiddish-language publication Moment Magazine, in which two reporters dropped in on New York representative’s office and scored a sit-down. They did so covertly, not telling Santos that they were reporters, assuming (probably rightly) that he wouldn’t talk to them if he knew.

During their chat, one subject inevitably came up: Santos’ bizarre claim that he was Jewish, which he later downgraded to “Jew-ish.” Santos still claims at least partial Jewish ancestry, and he has proof, sort of: He took four separate DNA tests to prove he wasn’t entirely lying. He didn’t have proof, claiming he was “just waiting for their returns.”

Despite that, Santos did reveal to the reporters the exact percentage of Jewish ancestry in his blood. He just asked them not to make it public.

Among the many, many, many half-truths, fabrications, and outright lies Santos was caught telling during his congressional campaign — all of them only discovered after he’d been elected — among the strangest was that he was telling donors that he was a “Latino Jew” and “halachically Jewish.” He also claimed that his maternal grandparents had fled anti-Jewish persecution first in Ukraine and then in Belgium. The Forward was the magazine that debunked that one, using genealogy sites to show that both grandparents were born in Brazil.

So we’ll have to wait and see if Santos can scientifically prove he’s a member of the tribe, if he ever actually makes public the results. And yet this line still has nothing on Santos falsely claiming his mother died on 9/11.

Twitter’s Circle Tweets Don’t Seem To Be Private Anymore, A Bug People Aren’t Happy About

Last year Twitter introduced a fun new way to tweet without having to start an alt account: Twitter Circle, which allows users to only tweet to accounts they deem trustworthy when it comes to posts you don’t want the world to see. But if you’ve been using it to air your darkest secrets, you might want to put the kibosh on that, at least for now.

As per TechCrunch, Twitter Circle addicts have been reporting a bug in which posts they meant only for an elite group were mysteriously winding up where they shouldn’t. Sometimes they pop up in the “For You” timeline of people who follow them but are not in one’s Circle. Other times they’re out there in the general public, for anyone to see.

Is this yet another Elon Musk-era bug? Something more nefarious? One former employee told Tech Crunch a theory on what was up:

“Twitter seems to be outright failing to filter out private content before serving it to users,” Theo Browne, a creator and former Twitch engineer, told TechCrunch. Twitter recently revealed the source code behind its recommendation algorithm, which uses multiple models to source, rank and filter tweets. Browne hypothesized that the sourcing model is surfacing private content, but these private tweets are not adequately being filtered out.

Of course, it’s hard for anyone to confirm what’s going on since Musk canned Twitter’s public relations team, like he did the janitors at Twitter HQ. But a number of people have tested out the problem, with unhappy results:

Upon finding out that Twitter Circle posts were materializing outside their Circle, people were not pleased.

Perhaps Musk and his team will eventually get around to fixing this problem, as they have with other Twitter hiccups. In the meantime, maybe don’t overshare or make fun of that mutual friend in a forum that’s supposed to be only semi-public.

Cardi B Addressed Her ‘Drugging And Robbing’ Past After Being Called A Predator

Cardi B has always been open about her thoughts, even when they turn out to be controversial. Sometimes, that means defending herself when her words are used against her, as she did on Instagram, addressing her criminal past of “drugging and robbing” strip club customers following her tweets responding to a news item involving some questionable behavior on the part of the Dalai Lama.

The Tibetan spiritual issued an apology to a young boy’s family that showed him kissing the boy and allegedly telling him to suck his tongue. Cardi B seemingly responded to the news by tweeting a warning that “this world is full of predators.” In it, she gave some advice to parents: “Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”

However, after she tweeted this and the story was picked up by Instagram gossip accounts, the comments were apparently riddled with users cutting her down for admitting to robbing drugged men when she worked at a New York strip club years ago (a la the Jennifer Lopez film Hustlers — which Cardi also had a cameo in).

Cardi went Live on Instagram to address the commentary, pointing out the difference between sneaking cash from sleazy customers and urging small children to commit inappropriate acts. “Y’all not gonna keep doing this,” she said. “For y’all to said that I’m some predator… because n****s wanted to buy some p*ssy from me? … These weren’t no vulnerable men… Did I touch their body?… No. Robbing and raping is two different type of sh*ts.”

She also shot down people calling her “the wrong messenger,” due to her experiences with motherhood and being abused as a teen. Meanwhile, over on Twitter, Cardi offered her final thoughts on the subject: “Wow all this support I’m getting at the same time is beautiful. It was deep in my heart to talk about this cause me & my friend was talkin last night & then the dalai lama thing happen this morning …Thank you everyone..I just have to realize the people attacking me are just projecting.”

Will There Be A Season 2 Of ‘The Night Agent?’

Netflix’s The Night Agent took off so quickly after its March 23 release date that the effect is almost dizzying. In short order, the series hit people’s queues and started rising towards the Top 10 English-speaking series list, where it should soon join the likes of Wednesday, Dahmer, and Stranger Things. So of course, fans quickly wondered if Netflix would renew the show, and somehow, those hopes have already been answered.

Yes, The Night Agent has been renewed for a second season. The Gabriel Basso-starring spy series (with a side of romance) therefore managed to buck the current trend of Netflix hanging back for awhile to make sure shows are sure things before opening the production wallet for more. So, we’ll get to see more of the story based upon Matthew Quirk’s bestselling book, and this goes to show that espionage will never get old for viewers. Heck, all of those Tom Cruise movies prove as much.

As well, the streaming services have never stopped cranking spy-involved shows out with Jack Ryan and Slow Horses landing among other recent successes. As far as timing goes, it’s far too soon to predict a landing date for more of The Night Agent, but Basso recently sat down with Collider (before the renewal news) to discuss how his character, Peter Sutherland, will handle his increased confidence in the next round:

“Yeah, he was thrown in above his head, and he had to look to Rose and all these other people to help him out. But I think if there was a Season 2, his MO would almost shift completely because he’d now be a Night Agent. I’d have to talk to Shawn about what that mission would be. I’m sure it all depends on the context of where you’d see him next, but I’m sure his training would shift from, “I’m an FBI agent,” to killing people. Whatever he’s being asked to do, I’m sure the emphasis would shift and the goal would shift, significantly. He’d probably feel a little out of his depth again.

Hopefully, this one is fast tracked, and fans will see more concrete plans soon.
