‘Love Is Blind’ Season 4: Dresses And Distress In Episodes 9-11

You’ve heard the phrase “love at first sight,” but what about “love at first sound?” Netflix’s hit show Love Is Blind sets out to answer that question with a social experiment. A group of single men and women date each other, fall in love, and get engaged — all without seeing the other person. Follow along as Uproxx ranks each couple and recaps the best tear-jerking and cringe-worthy moments from season 4.

(WARNING: Spoilers for up to episode 11 of Love Is Blind season 4 will be found below.)

We’re one step closer to what is setting up to be a crazy finale for season four of Love Is Blind. Episodes 9-11 were released on Netflix today, allowing viewers to check back in with this season’s cast as they weather the stress of a wedding less than a week away. Some couples coast through the stress with no issues while others need a break to clear their minds and focus on the special moment ahead of them, something that makes them stronger. And then there’s one couple who breaks things off in a way that will leave viewers with a plethora of thoughts and emotions to let out.

Just like we did last week, we’re back to give you a recap of what went down in each of the new episodes this week. After that, we’ll give you our predictions for who will (and won’t) say “I do” at the altar in the season four finale of Love Is Blind.

Episode 9

'Love Is Blind' S4 Marshall Jackie
Netflix

Jackie and Marshall have been on thin ice ever since returning to Seattle. Let’s be honest, though, they’ve been on thin ice since Jackie saw Marshall in person for the first time (poor guy!). While Marshall has been doing his best to work through their problems, Jackie’s comment about him “not being man enough” not only perpetuates the idea of toxic masculinity, but also makes it clear Jackie just isn’t into him. To further prove the point, Jackie doesn’t even show up to the wedding dress fitting. Marshall finds this fact out through Brett (who got a text from Tiffany), and the look on Marshall’s face shows how absolutely devastated he was. Jackie, however, isn’t devastated at all. In fact, she’s already moved on. She met up with Josh (who the rest of the cast despises) and agreed to rekindle their relationship.

Now, time to talk about a couple who could not be further from Jackie and Marshall’s relationship woes: Brett and Tiffany. In Episode 9, the picture-perfect couple met Brett’s friends for the first time. Brett’s friends absolutely loved Tiffany, further proving how the two are completely compatible for each other. His friends even say it sounds like “real love” and they can tell by the way they look at each other. I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, if Brett and Tiffany don’t both say “yes” at the altar, I’ll be convinced love doesn’t actually exist.

Kwame seemed like he was finally able to open up to Chelsea about how much he’s been compromising in their relationship. He says he doesn’t have any space for himself in Seattle, especially since he works from home and Chelsea’s apartment is so small. Chelsea straight-up asked him if he’s ready to be married, and he replied, “I think I love you with all my heart but there’s some things that make me take an extra second to think.”

Kwame and Chelsea aren’t the only ones who have been getting into arguments about where they will live. Micah wants to move to Scottsdale, Arizona, while Paul wants to stay in Seattle. I personally understand Micah’s point of view, but it leads me to ask, “Why the hell would you go on a dating show in Seattle if you knew you didn’t want to move there?” (For reference to those who don’t live on the west coast: Portland is a 3-hour drive from Seattle while Scottsdale is a 3-hour flight). Paul seems flexible, though, saying he’s afraid of losing Micah and willing to try Scottsdale if that means staying together.

Zack met Bliss’s mom and sisters for the first time in this episode, something he was very nervous about. Zack came clean immediately to her family about proposing to Irina first, which Bliss was taken aback by. It seemed as though honesty was the best policy, though, because Zack won over Bliss’ mom. She even told the camera that they seem like soulmates.– Carolyn Droke

Episode 10

Love-Is-Blind-S4-Brett-Tiffany.jpg
Netflix

Let’s get the biggest news out of the way first: Marshall and Jackie are done. While the other Love Is Blind cast members were trying on suits and dresses for their weddings, Jackie was on a date with Josh. Their date proved to be all she needed to walk away from Marshall. Jackie broke things off with Marshall by explaining how emotionally drained she was from her time with him and how her attraction for Josh wouldn’t allow her to fully love him. All in all, Jackie didn’t seem too considerate of Marshall’s feelings which continues a trend that dates back to episode eight. Jackie wants what she wants, which oddly includes keeping the ring Marshall gave her, so there’s no changing her mind here. Jackie wanted a change, but she didn’t seem ready for it and it’s unfortunate Marshall had to be collateral damage in her realization.

Aside from Jackie and Marshall’s mess, things were smooth sailing for the most part in episode 10 – just ask Brett and Tiffany. This season’s fan-favorite couple saw some cracks in their foundation as Tiffany neared a breakdown from the stress of her impending wedding. Brett arrived to console and comfort her in their living room as the cool, calm, and collected man he’s proven himself to be this season, but that’s not all he did. He also took Tiffany on a relaxing plane ride over nearby Seattle waters and surprised her with a sweet and beautifully-decorated dinner. In the end, Brett opened up about his feelings towards Tiffany, who shared her belief that she is marrying her person. All in all, how could not love these two??

Kwame and Chelsea stripped down for an intimate photoshop, something Chelsea dreamed of doing before her wedding. Calvin Klein may be the ultimate winner here thanks to some sweet product placement, and that’s all I’ll say about that moment. Later on, Kwame called his mother for a second time in hopes of another conversation about his upcoming marriage, but that failed as she didn’t answer his calls. In his mother’s eyes, Kwame is going against tradition and it’ll be a while before she comes around to it. Luckily, Kwame has support from his brother who tells him to “do right by you.”

Bliss is also going through a similar thing with her dad not totally being on board with her marrying Zack after knowing him for just three weeks. He makes his feelings clear over dinner in what was a very tense interaction between him and Bliss. Though this is a unique way to get married, Bliss’ father wasted the opportunity to get to know Zack and find out more about his personal life while they were at dinner. Bliss and Zack are very committed to each other and it seems a bit counterproductive to critique and try to cast doubt on it, but at the end of the day, Bliss’ dad is just trying to protect her.

Paul and Micah got a bit of airtime this episode as we joined them at a blacksmith to make their own wedding bands. It was a warm moment between the two as they seem set on marrying each other in the season finale. All in all, it was an eventful episode that also spent some time with the ladies as they picked out their dresses and had intimate and emotional moments with each other and family. — Wongo Okon

Episode 11

Love Is Blind S4 Kwame
Netflix

Chelsea and Kwame start off with another, heart-to-heart and difficult conversation about the possibility of marriage without his mother’s blessing. He admits that while he might feel like it’s throwing away the opinion of a loved one, Chelsea helps to reassure him by saying they’ll have to weather difficulties — as is any long-term relationship. The two come to a resolution of both just wanting to be happy.

These tense conversations carry equally into the other couples, like Zack and Bliss, as the reality of heading to the altar steadily approaches for them all. Still, there are some lighter moments during the meet-the-family, particularly for Brett and Tiffany, when his brother asks her what he thinks of his hair. Hilariously, she passes the test.

Chaos truly ensues when the guys and girls attend their own bachelor and bachelorette parties. Micah gets waaaaay too drunk and emotionally calls Paul on Facetime. The two go back and forth about not being able to hear each other. It gives that annoying girl and her boyfriend fighting at the bar before he finally hangs up — making her even more confused. (Plus, her friends and family make it abundantly clear they think she can do better.)

Zack continues his “signs” speech, noting that Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” and the fact that Bliss mentioned his favorite animal, means they’re meant to be. (Cue eye roll.) By the chance there’s any intersection between Love Is Blind and The Rehearsal fans, he was giving Robbin, who thought crashing his car at 100mph was a sign too.

After the party shenanigans, the first couple — Chelsea and Kwame — get ready to give their answers at the altar. Kwame’s sister has a truly sweet moment with Chelsea, as she gives her a wedding gift to welcome her to the family. However, it might be premature, as Chelsea says “I do,” but his returning answer ends on a cliffhanger.

The Best Craft IPAs For Fans Tropical Fruit Flavors, Ranked

Often, when we think about IPAs, the dominating flavor that often comes to mind is the sometimes harsh bitterness associated with this highly hopped beer style. And while there are countless West Coast (and other) IPAs that rely on an aggressively bitter, floral hop finish, many don’t. While hop bitterness still exists, this latter segment of the IPA world relies more on citrus and tropical fruit flavors.

Many hazy, New England-style IPAs fit this criterion. That’s kind of the point, right? They’re supposed to be hazy, tropical juice bombs. But other non-hazies fit the tropical bill as well. Regardless of the style, we’re totally on board with this tropical island getaway in a pint glass. All without having to spend years chatting with a blood-stained volleyball.

This is why, in these early still chilly and damp days of spring, we’ve decided to find eight of the best IPAs for fans of mango, guava, tangerine, pineapple, passionfruit, and other juicy, sweet, memorable tropical fruit flavors. Keep scrolling to see them all and read our tasting notes.

8) Sierra Nevada Tropical Torpedo

Sierra Nevada Tropical Torpedo
Sierra Nevada

ABV: 6.7%

Average Price: $10 for a six-pack

The Beer:

Sierra Nevada Torpedo is already a ridiculously hoppy, flavorful double IPA. Clearly, it’s only made better by using the same “Hop Torpedo” to craft a passionfruit, mango, and papaya-filled beer thanks to the use of Amarillo, Citra, Comet, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops.

Tasting Notes:

The nose is caramel malts, floral, snappy, earthy hops, and light tropical fruit aromas. It’s a little weaker than expected. There’s more of the same on the palate with pineapple, guava, and mango making an appearance with some lightly bitter, piney hops at the finish. Overall, a bit watery but okay.

Bottom Line:

If you enjoy Sierra Nevada Torpedo and you want it to have slightly less overall flavor but some tropical fruit notes, this is the beer for you. Otherwise, stick with the original.

7) Ninkasi Prismatic

Ninkasi Prismatic
Ninkasi

ABV: 5.9%

Average Price: $10 for a six-pack

The Beer:

Referred to as a “Juicy IPA”, this mix of tropical fruits, citrus fruits, and dank, resinous, floral flavors has a base of 2-Row and Vienna malt as well as flaked barley and white wheat. Its over-the-top hop flavor and aroma come from Crystal, El Dorado, Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic CRYO HOPS®, and Simcoe CRYO HOPS®

Tasting Notes:

The nose has light pineapple and tangerine with some mild floral, herbal hops, and not much else. Drinking it reveals notes of mango, pineapple, and grassy, herbal, floral hops. For a tropical IPA, it’s a little on the lighter side. For all the hops included, this is surprisingly muted.

Bottom Line:

Prismatic is a decent tropical IPA. It’s not overly flavorful or hoppy and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It simply doesn’t seem to be sure what type of IPA it wants to be.

6) Medusa Light Runner

Medusa Light Runner
Medusa

ABV: 6.5%

Average Price: $14 for a four-pack of 16-ounce cans

The Beer:

While many breweries tout the hops involved in crafting a tropical fruit-filled IPA, Medusa Light Runner uses a proprietary house strain of New England-style yeast along with select hops to create a juicy, creamy beer with notes of mango, guava, papaya, and tangerine.

Tasting Notes:

A nose of ripe peach, tangerine peels, mango, and passionfruit greets you before your first drink. The palate is filled with more citrus peels, guava, mango, and other tropical fruit flavors. There are slight floral hop flavors at the finish, but little to no bitterness to temper the overly sweet flavors.

Bottom Line:

If you want a beer that tastes like a glass of the fruitiest tropical fruit puree you’ve ever had, this is your beer. If you’re looking for hops, move along.

5) Weldwerks Juicy Bits

Weldwerks Juicy Bits
Weldwerks

ABV: 6.7%

Average Price: $18 for a four-pack of 16-ounce cans

The Beer:

Weldwerks flagship IPA is its wildly popular Juicy Bits. Brewed with Mosaic, El Dorado, and Citra hops, it’s known for its almost pulpy, juicy, citrus-centric, tropical fruit flavor profile. It’s as close to a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice in beer form as there is.

Tasting Notes:

A complex nose of passionfruit, peach, mango, and tangerine meets you before your first sip. The taste is all mango and bright, tart orange. There’s a little malt and yeast, but not enough. There’s also a little bit of hop bitterness at the finish.

Bottom Line:

This beer is exactly what it touts itself to be. It’s a pulpy, tropical fruity-filled IPA. It’s just… a little one-dimensional in that aspect.

4) Collective Arts Life in the Clouds

Collective Arts Life in the Clouds
Collective Arts

ABV: 6.1%

Average Price: $16 for a four-pack of 16-ounce cans

The Beer:

Referred to on the brewery’s website as “tropical bliss”, this unfiltered, hazy IPA is brewed with Mosaic and Simcoe hops. The result is a juicy, sweet, creamy beer with notes of citrus fruits, melon, and stone fruits.

Tasting Notes:

The nose is a symphony of mango, guava, papaya, honeydew melon, peach, and lightly floral hops. More of the same (in the best possible way) on the palate with caramelized pineapple, coconut, passionfruit, tangerine, grapefruit, and mango all making appearances alongside a dry, slightly bitter, hoppy finish.

Bottom Line:

This beer manages to bridge the gap between tropical fruit bomb and hoppy IPA. And it does it quite well.

3) Sloop Juice Bomb

Sloop Juice Bomb
Sloop

ABV: 6.5%

Average Price: $12 for a six-pack

The Beer:

Reading the name of this IPA, you likely have a pretty good idea of what you’re about to get into. This beer is a literal juice bomb. This year-round brew is known for its low bitterness, but heavy hop aroma and flavor as well as over-the-top, juicy, tropical fruit flavors.

Tasting Notes:

A lot is going on with this beer’s nose. There are aromas of guava, mango, peach, tangerine, lemon peel, grapefruit, and herbal, earthy hops. Drinking it brings forth ripe pineapple, more grapefruit, mango, and citrus as well as a nice kick of spicy, grassy hops. Even with the hop presence, the bitterness is very low.

Bottom Line:

This memorable IPA manages to be both tropical fruit-forward and hoppy. All without having much bitterness at all.

2) No-Li Big Juicy

No-Li Big Juicy
No-Li

ABV: 6.1%

Average Price: $11 for a six-pack

The Beer:

Another aptly named beer bursting with tropical fruit flavor is No-Li Big Juicy. This 6.1% ABV IPA from the folks at Spokane, Washington’s No-Li gets its juicy, fruity flavor from the liberal use of Azacca, Belma, Citra, and El Dorado hops.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, mango, guava, and fresh, earthy, grassy hops greet you before your first sip. The palate consists of caramelized pineapple, cracker-like malts, mango, tangerine, and piney, dank hops at the very end. The finish is more bitter than most of the beer’s on this list and that’s not such a bad thing.

Bottom Line:

This is a well-balanced IPA with cracker malts, tropical fruit flavors, citrus, and bitter hops all working together in perfect unison.

1) New England Fuzzy Baby Ducks

New England Fuzzy Baby Ducks
New England

ABV: 6.2%

Average Price: $13 for a six-pack

The Beer:

Who wouldn’t want to drink a beer called Fuzzy Baby Ducks, right? This single-hopped IPA gets all of its papaya, mango, guava, tangerine, and other tropical fruit aroma and flavor from the addition of Citra hops. Simple, flavorful, and not just a gimmicky name.

Tasting Notes:

On the nose, you’ll find complex aromas of ripe grapefruit, tangerine, mango, peaches, and dank, resinous pine. Drinking it reveals even more tropical fruit flavors. What begins with caramel malts, delves into mangos, papaya, passionfruit, and bright, citrus notes and a final flourish of lightly bitter, dank hops.

Bottom Line:

You’ll have a difficult time finding a better version of a juicy, tropical IPA than Fuzzy Ducks. If you can find it, buy it immediately.

Clarence Thomas Says That The Rich GOP Sugar Daddy Who’s Been Paying For His Lavish Vacations For Over 20 Years Is Just A Friend So It’s NBD

On Thursday, ProPublica published a damning report about Clarence Thomas’ friendship with GOP mega-donors Harlan and Kathy Crow, who have spent the better part of the past 20+ years footing the bill for a number of luxury vacations for the Supreme Court Justice and his QAnon conspiracy theory-loving wife Ginni.

Reports ProPublica:

In late June 2019, right after the U.S. Supreme Court released its final opinion of the term, Justice Clarence Thomas boarded a large private jet headed to Indonesia. He and his wife were going on vacation: nine days of island-hopping in a volcanic archipelago on a superyacht staffed by a coterie of attendants and a private chef.

If Thomas had chartered the plane and the 162-foot yacht himself, the total cost of the trip could have exceeded $500,000. Fortunately for him, that wasn’t necessary: He was on vacation with real estate magnate and Republican megadonor Harlan Crow, who owned the jet — and the yacht, too.

And that’s just a sampling of the absurdly lavish vacations Clarence and Ginny have taken on the dime of the Crows.

Yet Thomas, who is legally obligated to disclose any “gifts” he receives, doesn’t seem to get why people are making such a big deal over a billionaire Republican sugar daddy paying for his lavish luxury vacations. Newsweek obtained a copy of a statement Thomas made in response to ProPublica’s report, in which he clearly seemed to believe that having a pal shell out millions of dollars to entertain you over the course of a couple of decades was really not a big deal:

Harlan and Kathy Crow are among our dearest friends, and we have been friends for over twenty-five years. As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter century we have known them. Early in my tenure at the Court, I sought guidance from my colleagues and others in the judiciary, and was advised that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends, who did not have business before the Court, was not reportable.

Ahh, we get it — the rules have changed. And Clarence is just going by what some random person reportedly told him back in the early ‘90s. Fortunately, Thomas made is clear that he now plans to abide by whatever rules are now in place and will be a good judge from here on out and disclose who pays for his fancy vacations:

I have endeavored to follow that counsel throughout my tenure, and have always sought to comply with the disclosure guidelines. These guidelines are now being changed, as the committee of the Judicial Conference responsible for financial disclosure for the entire federal judiciary just this past month announced new guidance. And, it is, of course, my intent to follow this guidance in the future.

Note he does not say he will stop letting a billionaire pay for his travel, just that he’ll follow the new rules about disclosure. We’re sure that will make everything better.

In the 2020 documentary Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words — which Insider reports was laughably financed by Harlan Crow — Thomas actually talks about his vacation preferences, which he claims are as humble as his own beginnings.

”I don’t have any problem with going to Europe, but I prefer the United States, and I prefer seeing the regular parts of the United States,” Thomas says. “I prefer the RV parks. I prefer the Walmart parking lots to the beaches and things like that. There’s something normal to me about it.”

“I come from regular stock, and I prefer that,” Thomas added. “I prefer being around that.” Well, the Crows are definitely not “that.” Clarence and Ginni have been frequent guests on the Crows’ super-yacht and private planes.

Harlan Crow also responded to ProPublica’s report, claiming that: “The hospitality we have extended to the Thomas’s over the years is no different from the hospitality we have extended to our many other dear friends. We have been most fortunate to have a great life of many friends and financial success, and we have always placed a priority on spending time with our family and friends. Justice Thomas and Ginni never asked for any of this hospitality.”

Of course, whether or not the Thomases asked for the Crows’ hospitality is not the issue. It’s what the Crows — or any of their many other “dear friends” — might have asked for, expected, or talked about that’s the real problem.

“It’s incomprehensible to me that someone would do this,” retired federal judge Nancy Gertner told ProPublica.

Woman went out of her way to buy 3-year-old a bike after his was stolen, inspiring others to help

It seems there are few things people can agree on these days, but it’s safe to say that stealing from a child is viewed pretty unanimously as awful.

We can also agree that when we see others do good, it often makes us want to do good in return. We can’t always expect reciprocation other than the intrinsic rewards of being good people, but stories like this prove that goodness can indeed be contagious.

A 3-year-old boy went into a store with his mom, leaving his Spider-Man bicycle outside. When he and his mother returned, the bike had vanished. Security footage shared by NEWS CENTER Maine shows a man riding off with it.

The Rockland Maine Police Department made a Facebook post describing the incident and requesting information about the stolen bike. A woman saw that post and was immediately inspired to help—an act of kindness she had no idea would spur many others.

The woman, who remains an anonymous hero, drove over two hours from where she lives in Oxford County the following day to donate a brand new Spider-Man bicycle, complete with a matching helmet and bike lock for good measure.

This good deed wasn’t necessarily an easy task—the woman told the police that she was living out of her car, having been unable to pay for her rent. But just as she decided to help a stranger, so too did others show support once they learned of her plight. In addition to her tolls being paid by a store clerk, the Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition began collecting donations and people have been calling in offering assistance. Many were inspired to supply even more bikes for children who might need them.

Rockland Police added the positive update, saying, “We thought it was important to share this heartwarming outcome with everyone and we are so lucky to live in such a wonderful community.”

Yes, there are bad people out there. But there are far more people who go above and beyond to help others. It’s important to highlight stories like this so that we remember our inherent humanity, no matter how many bleak and divisive headlines are hurled toward us.

Jack Black Is All In On The Princess In A Hilarious New Video For ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ Song ‘Peaches’

There isn’t a serious bone (at least not many) in Jack Black’s body. The comedian/actor/musician cannot help but insert humor into anything involved, including his vocal obligations to the The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Black found a way to blend his silly personality with his character Bowser for the film’s featured song, “Peaches.”

In the video directed by Cole Bennett, Black, sporting a high fashion spin on the feared supervillain, passionately plays a peach piano as he sings a song dedicated to his love, Princess Peach. Written and produced by the film’s directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, Eric Osmond, engineer John Spiker, and Black, the song teases the plot of the movie.

Spiker, Black’s longtime collaborator, opened up about working on the track with Black to Insider, saying, “Jack Black is an incredible singer and musician, so we spent a night writing the song and sent the demo to Jack. A couple of days later, Jack sent us back a finished track. He had added his own twist on it, and his pianist played an original music track for it. We were blown away.”

Watch the video above. Lyrical Lemonade also shared a behind-the-scenes video about how the “Peaches” visual came together, so find that below.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is in theaters now.

No, Sting Did Not Charge Diddy $5K A Day For ‘I’ll Be Missing You,’ Says Diddy

For years now, there’s been this rumor about Diddy and Sting. Diddy famously sampled The Police’s “Every Breath You Take” on the hit 1997 single “I’ll Be Missing You,” but the rumor goes he didn’t get proper permission for the sample. Therefore, Diddy apparently has to pay Sting $2,000 per day over the song.

Charlamagne Tha God asked Sting about this in a 2018 interview and Sting answered, “Yeah, for the rest of his life. If it’s on the radio, then it must be true!” A clip of that conversation circulated on Twitter recently and Diddy shared it, writing, “Nope. 5K a day. Love to my brother @OfficialSting!”

As far as the $5K claim, though, turns out Diddy was just messing around. In fact, the whole story at any dollar amount seems to be a fallacy.

On Twitter today (April 7), Diddy offered some clarification, writing, “I want y’all to understand I was joking! It’s called being Facetious! Me and @OfficialSting have been friends for a long time! He never charged me $3K or $5K a day for Missing You. He probably makes more than $5K a day from one of the biggest songs in history.”

So there we have it: “Every step I take / Every move I make / Every single day, every time I pray / I won’t be paying you.”

Isiah Thomas Claims Michael Jordan Personally Called Him About Appearing In ‘The Last Dance’

Outside of Scottie Pippen, no person has been more vocal about their disappointment over The Last Dance than former Detroit Pistons guard Isiah Thomas. The documentary, which came out in 2020, showcased Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls, although the most common criticism it has received ever since it was released is that it was a documentary about Jordan (who allowed cameras to follow him around at the time under the condition the footage would only be used with his permission) with stuff about that Bulls team sprinkled in throughout.

Thomas, one of Jordan’s primary rivals during his playing days, has said he did not realize how Jordan felt about him until the docuseries aired, and late last year, he said that he was still upset over the fact that Jordan called him an asshole in one of the episodes. And in his latest comments on the series, Thomas claimed on the All The Smoke podcast that Jordan reached out to him personally and said his involvement was crucial to tell the full story.

“You see me dressed in a three-piece suit,” Thomas said. “Here’s the other thing I’ve got to say about Mike — his producer and Mike, they called me. ‘Hey, we need you in the video, can’t tell my story without you, you’re so important.’ Now, I’m thinking we’re all cool. ‘Can’t tell my story without you, blah blah blah blah.’”

Thomas went on to say the interview ran for about two hours and that he “said a lot of good stuff,” but then, when the series came out, he was put off by how he was portrayed.

“I’m dressed to the nines,” he said. “I didn’t come here in a sweatsuit today for you. I’m giving you respect, I’ma show up the right way because I got respect for you. I showed up the right way for that dude, and I sat there, and I did the interview. And that’s what you do to me?”

Jordan hasn’t said much about the response to the series, but maybe Thomas continuing to call him out like this changes things.

Boygenius’ New Album Is The First Chart-Topping Release For The Group’s Members And Phoebe Bridgers Is Pumped

Boygenius fans are still digesting The Record, the indie supergroup’s highly anticipated debut full-length that arrived just last week. Consisting of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, the indie trio hyped fans up with compelling singles and a surprise performance at airport baggage claim for SXSW.

So it’s not that much of a surprise that the beloved LP debuted at No. 1 on UK charts. Bridgers reacted to the news, shared today (April 7) by Chart Data on Twitter. “First number one for any of us,” she wrote in a quote-tweet. “This is so cool. We made it for you.”

Though the Punisher performer is appreciative of her devoted fans, she recently acknowledged those who cross boundaries and proceed to attack her online. “If you’re a kid and the internet somehow taught you that that’s an OK thing to do, then of course I hate capitalism and everything that led you to believe that it’s okay to do that,” she said in an interview with Them. “I, at one of the lowest points of my life, saw people who claim to love me f*cking dehumanize me and shame me and f*cking bully me on the way to my dad’s wake.”

Shania Twain is the queen of pop-country music. Throughout her career, she’s donned some iconic fashion looks. But, whether you personally like them or not (see the 2023 Grammys), she doesn’t hold back when it comes to the clothes she sports. After attending and presenting at the 2023 CMT Awards, trolls came out of the woodwork to critique not only the singer’s hair but her outfits as well. Either way, the “You’re Still The One” singer doesn’t care.

The songwriter was proud of the designer looks she wore on the event’s red carpet and on the stage as a featured presenter. Uploading behind-the-scenes images of her looks, in the caption, Twain wrote, “For me, fashion is a powerful tool that helps to convey my personality and express my creativity, and other than getting to hang out with my friends for the night, it’s one of my favorite things about attending award shows! Life is too short to wear boring clothes! Thank you to the team behind my #CMTAwards.”

Twain’s presenter look was a quilted lavender three-piece set Chanel bra, shorts, and jacket set paired with a Stetson cowboy hat. While her red carpet look was a red and black semi-sheer Prabal Gurung dress with hip cutouts. Viewers felt that her looks were not age-appropriate, so Twain clapped back by saying, “Life is too short to wear boring clothes.”
