‘You’ Star Victoria Pedretti Called Out A ‘Well Known’ Actor Who Made A Disgusting Comment Towards Her At A Party

On Instagram, You star Victoria Pedretti called out a “well known” actor who made a derogatory comment towards her at an event last year.

“On my bday last year, a ‘well known’ actor walked up to me at a party and said, ‘I’ve jacked off to you so many times’ … I was shocked by the audacity. This is AFTER he expressed how much he RESPECTED me as an actor lol,” she wrote. “Sometimes I enjoy modesty, sometimes I don’t. It’s a joke to think that my own modesty will protect me from any disrespect I may experience as a femme body. Also, shout out to my body. I love you. You’re mine.”

The post, which included a nude birthday selfie, has since been deleted.

The post has made its way to social media, eliciting support from Pedretti’s many fans. Since, people have speculated that the post was removed, rather than deleted, due to Instagram’s strict rules against nudity.

“That is why it’s complete bullsh*t when people victim blames women for what they wear. Modesty doesn’t save us from the disrespect we still get from nasty men. Victoria Pedretti is brave and a total badass, IG couldn’t handle it,” one supporter tweeted in response to Pedretti’s caption. Another added, “Here’s a fun game: let’s never ever tell women that their mere existence arouses you unless you have a sexual relationship?? Yeah?? Cool.”

‘The White Lotus’ Effect Is Real: Binge TV Is Substantially Impacting Travel Plans, According To A New Report

It would be an understatement to say that The White Lotus‘s second season continues to inspire decadent dreams of jetting off to Taormina, Sicily. Heck, even the Aperol Spritz (with Prosecco in it) has soared in popularity over the past handful of months. Additionally, the villa rented by Daphne and Harper is available as an Airbnb (although I do not want to see those cleaning fees), and in short, everyone wants to be miserable in luxury and to paste on happy smiles for social media.

Alright, so that last sentence might be a little too much, but according to the American Express Global Travel Trends Report, the trend is palpable. A majority (64%) of their survey respondents declared that, yes, they have found inspiration to book a particular destination “after seeing it featured on a TV show, news source, or movie,” and naturally, nearly half (48%) declared that they “want to travel somewhere they can show off on social media.”

Of course, one can also expect massive crowds while following TV-inspired trends, so perhaps it’s best to save The White Lotus focus for a few years? Or at least, wait until people are flocking to Tokyo (to join those who are belatedly inspired by Lost In Translation and many other TV shows and movies) after The White Lotus Season 3. Whatever the timing, expect the effect to be real when it comes to impacting hotel prices. Yikes.

Trump Unloaded An Unhinged Rant To Warn Of ‘Death And Destruction’ If He’s Charged With Any Crimes

Donald Trump is doing great, you guys. He’s definitely not posting all-caps rants on social media in the middle of the night, and alienating his wife, and desperately asking his followers to sign a petition to keep him out of prison (and some money would be great, too). Trump is feelin’ fine, happily listening to the same damn songs he always listens to — unless he gets indicted.

Then he’s promising “death and destruction.”

In one of his classic stream-of-consciousness Truth Social diatribes this morning, Trump wrote, “What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country? Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!”

This post comes after Trump claimed that “EVERYBODY KNOWS I’M 100% INNOCENT,” but Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg “IS JUST CARRYING OUT THE PLANS OF THE RADICAL LEFT LUNATICS. OUR COUNTRY IS BEING DESTROYED, AS THEY TELL US TO BE PEACEFUL!” Does sharing a photo of yourself holding a baseball bat next to Bragg’s head count as “peaceful”?

In an Instagram Story shared today (March 24), Gomez wrote, “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. Earlier this month, Gomez addressed the situation less directly, writing on TikTok, “Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health. My heart has been heavy and I only want good for everyone. All my love [folded hands emoji].”

That came a couple weeks after Gomez announced she was going to take a break from social media, saying in a live TikTok video, “I’m 30. I’m too old for this… I’m just going to take a break from everything.”

Meanwhile, Gomez recently spoke about new music she’s been working on, saying, “The music I’m doing right now is about real things that I’m walking through. It’s really powerful, strong, and very pop. The theme generally is freedom — freedom from relationships, freedom from the darkness.”

Lana Del Rey Thinks One Of The Most Vulnerable ‘Ocean Blvd’ Tracks Is ‘Not A Good Song’ But Fans Love It

Lana Del Rey’s new album Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is out now, and in the hours since its release, fans have gotten to dissecting the album and sharing their favorite moments on social media. “Fingertips” is a song that’s getting a lot of attention, despite the fact that Del Rey herself thinks it’s “not a good song.”

On her Substack, journalist Hannah Ewens recently shared interview excerpts with Del Rey that were cut from a recent Rolling Stone UK feature. In one of them, Del Rey says of “Fingertips”:

“‘Fingertips’ is not a good song or a big song but it definitely explains everything. I felt like that was important because everyone was always like [whispers], ‘Explain yourself.’ And I was like, ‘OK, let me do this really quickly, I’ll tell you everything I’m thinking in two minutes in a seven-minute song and just rip through it and edit it.’ That song kind of says it all. Between that song and ‘Wildflower Wildfire’ on Blue Banisters, you can get a lot [whispers and laughs] of everything.”

Indeed, it’s a vulnerable track, and that’s what fans love about it. Check out some Twitter reactions below.

‘Power Book II: Ghost’: For Greed, All Nature Is Too Little In Season 3, Episode 2

(WARNING: Spoilers for this week’s Power Book II: Ghost episode will be found below.)

Tariq is unable, for what feels like the umpteenth time, to wriggle free from the drug game as his future goals and freedom are dependent on his participation in it. In the season three premiere of Power Book II: Ghost, Tariq is only able to enjoy a few moments of a somewhat normal life before his world is blown up once again. Noma, the menacing leader of a global empire who also happened to be the boss and fiancée to the now-slain Mecca, corners Tariq, Cane, and Brayden with the goal of seeking unrelenting revenge for Mecca’s death. Tariq, knowing his involvement in it, is left to do whatever he can to make her happy and save his own life and that means moving and selling Mecca’s massive supply of drugs. Thankfully, he has help from Cane, Brayden, and Effie.

In the second episode of the season, titled “Need Vs. Greed,” the group’s plan to distribute the product to sell in as many different areas is in motion, but not without a few initial disagreement. Tariq and Brayden can’t seem to agree where to sell the drugs with Brayden suggesting that sell to the snobby employees at the Weston family company, something Tariq is extremely against. This moment is one of many that plays into the episodes theme of “need vs. greed.” Are decisions made to fulfill a critical need or to indulge in a desire? What are the consequences of doing or not doing something? It’s clear that Tariq and Brayden generally stand on opposite ends of this concept, but because their lives are at risk with Noma, their short-term needs are more aligned which help them to come to an agreement on how to move forward in the episode.

Elsewhere, Effie tries to find her footing on “need vs. greed” while Lorenzo challenges Cane to take the top spot, and to his surprise, Cane does just that. Lauren has a big decision to make, but her choice may not be needed because Jenny Sullivan, Cooper Saxe, and Blanca Rodriguez are building quite the case against them.

Here are some of the biggest takeaways that we have after season three’s second episode, “Need Vs. Greed”:

Tariq & Brayden Are The Epitome Of Need Vs. Greed

Tariq and Brayden are best friends, there’s no doubt about that. They’ve had great moments together and they’ve had sour ones too. Though they have plenty of similarities, Tariq and Brayden both have big differences that play into the “need vs. greed” theme of this week’s episode. As the show presented it, Tariq needed to sell drugs to fund his mother’s case to get her out of prison. He need to continue doing it to stay on Monet’s good side, and now he needs to do it to avoid being killed by Noma. Sure, Brayden also needs to sell the drugs now in order to not be killed by Noma, but from the very start, Brayden’s participation in the game was by choice. He joined after getting a thrill from the moment and figuring out that he was kind of good at it. So it’s understandable why Brayden is nonchalant in his ask to move some of Mecca’s drugs within the Weston family office and it’s understandable why Tariq is so against it. When Brayden took the fall in Tariq’s drug case, it resulted with him getting a six-figure job while it would’ve put Tariq in jail if he was convicted. The risk is higher for Tariq which makes fulfilling his needs and nothing more, all that more important. Brayden’s greed could help them reach new levels, but it could also hurt them a lot — especially when it involves shaking hands with Rashad Tate.

'Power: Ghost' S3 E2 Lorenzo Cane
STARZ

Lorenzo Played With Fire, But Couldn’t Handle The Burns

You think that a murderer like Lorenzo — whether it be accidental or not — would do a better job of not bringing attention to himself. Throughout “Need Vs. Greed,” he taunts and degrades Cane by citing the numerous reasons he can’t trust. Lorenzo then suggests that the only way Cane can gain his trust back to maybe become the one to take on the family drug empiure is to find Zeke’s killer, but the gag is Lorenezo killed Zeke. It was this moment that we truly see that Lorenzo has no desire to pass the torch to Cane, but we also see how greatly Lorenzo underestimates Cane. Sure, Cane has messed up numerous times over the course of Power Book II: Ghost and sure Cane and Lorenzo may not see eye-to-eye, but this moment showed how much Cane favored all his other children above Cane. Nonetheless, a handful of scenes later, Cane confronts Lorenzo by calling him Zeke’s killer, and though Lorenzo tries to deny it, Cane successfully gets Lorenzo to admit it. Lorenzo played with fire, but couldn’t handle the burns and now he’s under Cane’s blackmail-driven command and who knows where that will lead him to. If Lorenzo was smart, he would’ve done everything in his power (no pun intended) to keep the attention and eyes off him.

Cane Is Just Getting Started

This is the moment that Cane has been waiting for since the first season of Power Book II: Ghost. He played by the rules and broke them in hopes of claiming the next-in-line crown for the family drug organization. He was loyal in some moments and deceitful in others, and yet it didn’t work out in his favor… until now. Following Lorenzo’s direct orders, Cane figures out who murdered Zeke — that being Lorenzo — and uses this discovery to blackmail his dad into moving some of the product that Noma has directed him, Tariq, Cane, and Brayden to distribute. Cane has had several master plans in his attempt to put himself in position to takeover the family business, and while most of them more or less failed prior to this episode, it didn’t stop him from coming up with a new one and trying again. At long last, he’s got everyone right where he wants there, and now, it’s time begin the next phase. Cane is just getting started, and while we’ll have to see how long this lasts, we know he’ll make the most of it in the meantime.

Effie Needs To Be Greedy

Effie is trying to find her footing in this new dynamic between her Tariq, Brayden, and Cane. She doesn’t seem as greedy as Brayden, but she is a bit more needy than Tariq as she needs any and all the drug money she can get in order to pay her school fees at Stansfield. We’ve known Effie to have an all-business-no-play approach, so it’s no surprise that we see her roll her eyes at Tariq and Brayden’s discussions about their plans “blowing up” and the luxury cars they’ll purchase with the money they. This has never been a come-up to Effie, it’s damn near life or death for her. Unlike Tariq and Brayden, if all else fails, there’s not much she can lean on. Brayden has his extremely rich family and Tariq could look to Monet for help. With Effie, her resources are the thinnest out of the group. So when we see her contemplate the re-launch of Course Correct behind Tariq and Brayden’s back, you can kind of understand it. Or when we see her pressure Brayden into keeping quiet about their attempt to kill Lauren, which we know failed, you can also understand it. While this episode leaves us to contemplate need vs. greed, Ellie finds herself on both sides. Her greed is nearly synonymous with her needs and it protects her from damage that no other character will feel if things go wrong. With all that being said, Effie needs to be greedy, and with the way things are looking just two episodes in, it seems like it’s not if things will go wrong, but when.

New episodes of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ are available on the STARZ app on Fridays at 12:00 am EST and on the STARZ TV channel at 8:00 pm EST.

Ohio Officers Are Reportedly Suing Afroman After He Recorded Them Wrongfully Raiding His Home

Last year, a group of Ohio police officers wrongfully raided rapper Afroman‘s home. Afterward, Afroman decided to take matters into his own hands and use the footage of the raid for one of his music videos. Now, the aforementioned cops have reportedly filed a lawsuit against the “Colt 45” rapper, according to court documents obtained by The Guardian.

In the reported lawsuit, which was evidently filed by police officers Shawn D Cooley, Justin Cooley, Michael D Estep, Shawn D, Grooms, Brian Newland, Lisa Phillips, and Randolph L Walters, Jr, the plaintiffs allege that Afroman used their persona for commercial purposes.

“These music videos clearly portray the images, likenesses, and distinctive appearances (‘personas’), of many of the officers involved in the search, including those of all Plaintiffs,” reads part of the lawsuit.

Another part of the lawsuit called Afroman’s use of the footage “willful, wanton, malicious, and done with conscious or reckless disregard,” claiming that as a result, they’ve been subject to ridicule and death threats.

In addition to using clips from the raid for a music video, Afroman also posted clips and images on TikTok and Instagram.

In one of the since-deleted Instagram posts, Afroman allegedly captioned a photo of Judge Roy Gabbert, saying, “This is the judge that signed the warrant that said kidnapping. His name is Roy Droopy Gabbert. Vote him out before he signs a fictitious warrant then send some over reacting paranoid KKKops to your House jeopardizing the lives of you and your family, Stealing your money and disconnecting your home video security surveillance system…”

At the time of the raid, Gabbert had issued a warrant as part of an investigation into drug possession, trafficking, and kidnapping.

Each plaintiff is reportedly seeking damages of $25,000 per four counts.

Gonzaga Erased A 13-Point Halftime Deficit Thanks To A Late Logo Three And Drew Timme

Drew Timme, Mark Few, and the Gonzaga Bulldogs dug themselves a significant hole on Thursday in a Sweet 16 matchup against the UCLA Bruins in Las Vegas. By halftime, Gonzaga was trailing by 13 points and seemingly on the ropes after a first half in which the Bulldogs struggled mightily to find defensive stops. Then, Timme and company executed almost flawlessly for the vast majority of the second half to build what appeared to be an insurmountable lead, only to implode in the final minutes. To cap off what was an instant classic, the Bulldogs ultimately pulled it out of the fire on a deep three-pointer by Julian Strawther in the final seconds, and Gonzaga escaped with a 79-76 win and a trip to the Elite Eight.

Early in the game, it was the Timme show for the Bulldogs. The perennial All-American scored 15 of the first 19 points for Gonzaga, showcasing his game both inside and outside.

On the other end, however, UCLA took it to Gonzaga early and often in the first half. The Bruins scored 29 points in the first ten minutes of action, making 60 percent of their shots with only one turnover. By the middle of the half, UCLA used an 11-2 run to take a double-digit lead and apparent control of the game flow.

While both teams were generating quality looks, UCLA had the edge in the possession battle by virtue of ball security. The Bruins forced seven turnovers in fewer than 15 minutes and, even with Gonzaga eventually cutting the margin to two, UCLA had a counterpunch before halftime. That came in the form of a 15-4 run to close the half, and Mick Cronin’s team led 46-33 at the break.

As he did in the first half, Timme came out of the locker room strong for Gonzaga, keying an 8-0 run in the early going. That cut the deficit to 54-50, and Timme had 29 points with 14 minutes remaining.

Gonzaga held UCLA scoreless for more than six straight minutes and, on the other end, the Bulldogs imposed their will. That led to the first lead change in a long time as Gonzaga’s overall run reached 20-3 to give the Bulldogs a ten-point lead.

After the torrid pace of the first half, UCLA’s offensive power outage was jarring to see, as the Bruins didn’t make a field goal for more than 11 minutes, at one point missing 11 consecutive shots. However, there was still plenty of drama left to unfold, in part due to the brilliance of Jaime Jaquez, who finished the game with 29 points and 11 rebounds.

With the help of a miss on the front end of a one-and-one from Gonzaga, UCLA began to chip away, with Jaquez converting a three-point play with 1:14 to go to bring the Bruins back within six. Moments later, Gonzaga’s Malachi Smith uncorked an errant pass in the backcourt for a turnover, and the wheels began to come off for the Bulldogs. Jaquez generated another three-point play with 45 seconds remaining, bringing UCLA within three and, after Gonzaga split a pair of free throws, it was Jaquez again taking the ball to the basket to trim the deficit to 75-73 with 33 seconds remaining.

Timme was fouled with 25 seconds left and, when he missed both to continue Gonzaga’s ill-timed swoon, the door was open for UCLA. Freshman guard Amari Bailey stepped through it with the biggest shot of his career, burying a three-pointer to give UCLA the lead with 12.2 seconds remaining.

Though it was not the way Gonzaga drew things up, the Bulldogs did have a chance at redemption, and Julian Strawther was up to the challenge. He uncorked a (very) deep triple on a play very similar to one executed by Villanova’s Kris Jenkins to win a national title under Jay Wright, and Strawther became a hero in an instant.

When UCLA wasn’t able to convert on the other end after a Zags steal, free throws, and a last second heave bounced off the rim for the Bruins, Gonzaga narrowly emerged with the victory in what was certainly a game not for the faint of heart. It would be fair to point to Gonzaga’s inability to slam the door, including five missed free throws and poor defense in the final two minutes, but it was also a tremendous effort from the Bulldogs after halftime to come back against a very strong opponent. Gonzaga secured 14 offensive rebounds in the final 20 minutes, overwhelming UCLA with second-chance opportunities, and Timme was individually brilliant.

The veteran center became the first player in NCAA Tournament history to score at least 20 points in ten different games, and Timme finished the evening with 36 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists as the fulcrum of Gonzaga’s offense. It was a fitting moment for a tremendous collegiate force, and Timme was backed up by a double-double from Strawther that was punctuated by the biggest shot of the evening.

On UCLA’s side, the Bruins will undoubtedly be kicking themselves for the missed opportunities, especially after nearly pulling off a highly improbable comeback in the closing stretch. For Gonzaga, defensive questions persist and, in fewer than 48 hours, the Bulldogs will face a difficult challenge with a matchup against red-hot UConn at T-Mobile Arena. Still, this is a game that Gonzaga has sometimes figured out how to lose in recent years, and Mark Few’s team remains alive and just one game away from the Final Four.

Becky G Fans Are Ready To Reenact ‘Swarm’ As Rumors Of Her Fiancé’s Infidelity Surface Online

Becky G recently announced her engagement to Sebastián Lletget two months ago with some sweet outdoor photos. However, it’s rumored that not everything has been as it seems — given that infidelity questions are swirling.

The situation, according to Opoyi, stemmed from an Instagram account that claimed he was at a Madrid disco called Shoko last month. The user, an unnamed woman, also shared several IG stories about that night.

“Sebastian, your boyfriend, cheated on you in February and I have all the proof (…) I can send them to you privately. A lot of the press is contacting me because I will not remain silent,” she allegedly posted — addressing Becky directly and referring to intimate photos she had from that time. The video, which was screen recorded and shared on Pop Crave, also includes DM’s directly from Lletget it seems.

Needless to say, fans aren’t pleased, and are ready to come for him in her defense — with similar online reactions presented in the recent Prime Video series, Swarm.

“Becky g: bzrp music sessions vol 55 coming soon,” one fan replied, referencing Shakira’s cheating allegations that resulted in her latest hit song.

“The way these unknown men get lucky and still decide to cheat must be studied,” another added.

IDK And Rich The Kid Flawlessly Switch Up Their Styles On Their New Single, ‘850 (We On Top)’

Ahead of his appearance at Coachella next month, IDK has shared a new song called “850.” On “850,” IDK, which stands for Ignorantly Delivering Knowledge, delivers celebratory bars over a hypnotic, ominous, beat.

“You was just stopped, now you want to have a revolution / now you’ve changed / that ain’t a problem / Just don’t bring the thought to me, unless it’s with the brain / lay flat in the plane / Go to sleep in LA / Then I wake up in Spain,” he raps.

Midway through the song IDK and his collaborator, Rich The Kid, switch up their flows, as the beat changes after a brief interlude.

Over the years, IDK has demonstrated his range as a rapper, a singer, and a producer. In an interview with BET last year, IDK expressed the desire to cultivate a sense of perseverance within his community.

“Community, to me, is the most important thing to have,” he said. “Some people, especially if you’re an artist from the hood — let’s say you’re from Memphis — rely on the people that relate to you. That’s your community. You want to have Memphis behind you. These are the people who are going to have your back no matter what. It’s always important to have that. But in order to have solid community support, you have to be of it, and the person representing the community has to be real.”

You can listen to “850” above.

IDK is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
