During the performance, Ballerini and her backing band were dressed in all white, creating a minimalistic aesthetic, while allowing the pure emotions from her lyrics and vocals to shine through.
“We played the part five nights, but we were never there on the weekends, baby / We got along real nice, but when I left town, did you hate / One day, the curtain started coming down / You changed the second we were moving out / I guess wrong can look alright / When you’re playing home in a penthouse, baby,” she sings on the song’s chorus.
While Ballerini has been open about the fact that her divorce from singer Morgan Evans has taken a toll on her, she revealed in an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she is finally finding moments of joy in this new chapter of her life. She is learning how to navigate dating and balance it with fame.
“I do want to be respectful… and everything is new for me—dating, being photographed with someone. It’s all really new, and I’m tip-toeing. And I’m happy. I’m really relearning a lot about myself and how I show up in a relationship and how I show up for myself. It’s been a really beautiful reawakening.”

In her debut appearance on Saturday Night Live, Kelsea Ballerini brought it all to the table. Tonight (March 4), she performed “Blindsided” from her new EP, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.
During the performance, Ballerini danced the pain away, while detailing the events that led to the dissolution of her marriage.
“I’d go write a song and you’d go for a walk / We had to get drunk to ever really talk / I told you what I needed, didn’t have to read my mind / So, were you blindsided or were you just blind?,” Ballerini sang.
Ballerini’s SNL performance, along with her most recent EP, follows her divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans. In a recent interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Ballerini opened up about the divorce. She revealed that while she is in a good place now, she wasn’t happy that he had released a song — “Over For You” — before they had finalized their divorce. On the song, Evans claimed he was “blindsided” by the divorce.
“His healing journey is his healing journey, but to publicly exploit that feels a little nasty to me, before it’s final,” she said. “Now we’re months past it. We’re moving on, and I’ve taken the time to actually sit in my feelings and go through that grieving process and take ownership of what I brought to the table, too.”

In his heavyweight debut, Jon Jones (27-1) submitted Ciryl Gane (11-2) to claim the vacant heavyweight championship in the main event of UFC 285.
Despite Gane accidentally kicking Jones below the belt to start the fight, Jones managed to control the middle of the Octagon to open the bout, walking Gane backwards before ultimately taking him to the ground. Jones sat Gane down early, then attacked a guillotine and submitted him quickly.
Saturday marked Jones’ return to the UFC and his first bout in the heavyweight division. He hadn’t fought since 2020, earning a decision victory over Dominick Reyes while maintaining his dominance over the light heavyweight division. Jones is arguably the greatest fighter in UFC history, but his background is riddled in controversy amid two victories over another greatest of all-time contender, Daniel Cormier.
Gane, a former interim heavyweight champion, lost his lone title fight in a decision loss to Francis Ngannou in January 2022. He was able to get back on track before his showdown with Jones, knocking out Tui Tuivasa in September last year.
Jones claims the heavyweight crown after Ngannou vacated the belt earlier this year when he was released from his contract. With the win, Jones will likely go on to face off against former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, who hasn’t fought since he was knocked out by Ngannou in 2021.
If you put any stock in the Tomatometer, Rotten Tomatoes users have named The Last of Us the best live-action TV adaptation of a video game ever, with a 96 percent approval score. (The Witcher comes in a distant second, with an 81 percent rating.) Which would seem to make the answer to that first question: No, it does NOT have a right to be this damn good — but we’re glad it is.
As for the fate of Joel, Pedro Pascal’s character (who could have been played by Mahershala Ali)? At the end of “Kin,” the series’ sixth episode, it seemed as if Joel might be a goner when the episode ended with him collapsing after being stabbed. In episode 7, “Left Behind,” we learned that all was not lost — yet. While Joel is still hanging in there as his smartass teenage companion Ellie (Game of Thrones show-stealer Bella Ramsey) does her best to tend to his wounds, despite his insistence that she keep moving, Ellie isn’t ready to move on from their time together just yet.
Does Joel die in The Last of Us video game?
For viewers who can’t bear the suspense and are looking to the show’s source material for possible answers on how it all might end for Joel when season 1 concludes on Sunday, Men’s Health reports some possibly good news: No, Joel does not die in the video game. However, the wounds he sustains from the unexpectedly brutal attack are actually much worse. As assistant editor Joshua St. Clair writes:
In the game, Joel and Ellie are fleeing from inside the hospital; the attackers have come in swarms — maybe 20 total — and Joel and Ellie must run-and-gun their way out. As Joel (and, in this moment, the player) makes for a door, leading from an outside corridor overlooking the hospital’s courtyard, a man bursts through, throwing Joel against the courtyard railing. It’s a moment where gameplay seamlessly transitions to cutscene: the two struggle, and then both fall. The perspective of the fall is a skyward view from the courtyard, where a protruding piece of rebar frames the foreground. Joel and the attacker fall towards the camera. Joel is impaled on the rebar.
Ouch!
Of course, there’s no rule that says any adaptation — video game or otherwise — needs to remain faithful to its source material. Bella Ramsey has said that she expects the season 1 finale to “divide people massively,” which some viewers have taken as a hint for bad things to come. But really, it just means that when The Last of Us comes to a conclusion on Sunday, March 5, anything can happen.
SZA is pulling out all the stops on herSOS tour. Tonight (March 4), she performed the first of two New York City shows at Madison Square Garden. During her tour, a special guest made a surprise appearance on stage.
In a clip shared by The Hollywood Reporter, SZA brought out Phoebe Bridgers for a performance of “Ghost In The Machine” from SZA’s sophomore album, SOS. Surprising the audience, Bridgers performed her verse of their collab, alongside SZA.
Tonight marks the first time Bridgers and SZA have performed the song live together.
In an interview with NME, Bridgers revealed how the collaboration came together just days before SOS was supposed to drop.
“She just hit me up. She just sent me a DM, and then it all happened so fast,” said Bridgers. “I wasn’t really used to that in that pop world, because vinyl isn’t so much of a consideration until way later. It’s just like, ‘Do you want to be on this record? OK, it’s out next week.’ It was so recent, which I really like. I like that turnaround time. Personally, I sit on stuff for so long and it takes me years to make albums. I like seeing someone else’s world from that angle.”

Fans of New York drill rapper Fivio Foreign were surprised to find that he did not show for his Rolling Loud set today (March 4). Understanding their frustrations, Fivio took to Twitter to apologize for his absence.
“Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me I ain’t make it,” said Fivio. “My first time missing a show and I feel so crazy about it but my body dealing w some real issues.. Juss keep me in yah prayers.”
Apologize to @RollingLoud & everybody who came out to see me I ain’t make it.. My first time missing a show and I feel so crazy about it but my body dealing w some real issues.. Juss keep me in yah prayers & I’ll hit Tariq up to make it up
But even though he has been dealing with mental health and emotional health issues, he remains true to his passion. During the Grammys last month, he spoke with The Source.
“Hip-Hop means everything,” said Fivio. “When I was growing up and coming outside, it molded me. Taught me how to move and live, dress and feel. It almost means everything to me.”
Hopefully, Fivio gets well soon, as he teased new music shortly after the time planned for his Rolling Loud slot. After rapper Meek Mill tweeted that there hasn’t been “a lot of flame to listen to” lately, Fivio revealed that he has new music on the way.
Could Adam Silver have a new job in the not-too-distant future? According to multiple media reports, Silver, who has served as the NBA’s commissioner ever since he followed David Stern in 2014, is on The Walt Disney Company’s shortlist as it looks to find a successor for its current Chief Executive Officer, Bob Iger.
The news was first reported by Charles Gasparino of Fox Business Network, and was subsequently confirmed by both Doug Greenberg of Front Office Sports and Jess Golden of CNBC.
SCOOP: Media execs say @Disney has unofficial short list of internal/external candidates to replace @RobertIger includes @NBA commish Adam Silver @KevinMayer$DIS Entertainment’s Dana Walden. Silver suggests $DIS having second thoughts about ditching @espn 345pm @FoxBusiness
Source confirms that @NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is in the mix to one day replace Bob Iger at Disney as first reported by @CGasparino. Silver’s NBA contract goes until the end of 2024
Both Golden and Front Office Sports reported that Silver’s current contract to lead the NBA runs through 2024, while FOS added that there’s both no guarantee Silver gets the job and a unique situation that would prevent him from sitting on Disney’s board.
While FOS’ source was unable to speak to the other names on the reported shortlist —which includes Candle Media co-founder and co-CEO Kevin Mayer, and Disney co-chairman Dana Walden — they clarified that Silver is only being considered for the top position, and cannot serve on Disney’s board due to the NBA’s broadcast partnership with the media giant causing a conflict of interest.
Iger previously led Disney from 2005-20, but returned in Nov. 2022 after the dismissal of his successor, Bob Chapek. The NBA currently has a television rights deal with Disney, which bring in about $2.5 million for the league. Prior to Chapek’s tenure coming to an end, he expressed interest in renewing its deal with the NBA before it expires at the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.
Ja Morant will leave the Memphis Grizzlies and miss at least the next two games. Morant is currently the subject of an NBA investigation due to an Instagram video in which he appeared to brandish a gun in a nightclub during the early hours of Saturday morning, and in a statement he released in the aftermath of the Grizzlies announcing his leave of absence, Morant said that “I’m going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being.”
Unsurprisingly, there have been numerous reactions to the news, which extended to ABC’s pregame show on Saturday night before the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Philadelphia 76ers. After Stephen A. Smith and Michael Wilbon commented on the situation, Jalen Rose spoke about being in the situation where Morant currently finds himself during his own basketball playing career.
“I am Ja Morant,” Rose said. “You guys got a chance to see me grow up for public consumption since 1991. I’ve been involved in drug raids, I’ve survived assassination attempts. I’ve been that undisciplined young person that was trying to figure out how to be famous, how to be successful, how to change the dynamics of my family.”
Rose went on to say that Morant now finds himself in a position where he’s gone from “a member of the family, a member of the crew, to being the leader,” and as a result, things fall on him. He also shared his belief that “people come into your life for four reasons: to add, subtract, multiple, or divide — you have to choose wisely.”
“He has way too much to lose,” Rose said. “Trust me, I’ve been that young player carrying a gun, and Wilbon alluded to this: When you start waving it, that can get you killed. That’s an entirely different thing than we’re talking about a superstar athlete should be putting themself in position. And as Stephen A mentioned, that’s him on the video, on his IG Live. Ain’t nobody coaxing him, ain’t nobody egging him on to do that, that’s a personal choice.”
Rose called fame a drug, then commended Morant for saying that he owned up to his mistakes and said making changes for himself was part of the reason why he is taking this leave. And after talking about the responsibility that a person has to “uplift” when they achieve the level of success Morant has already achieved, Rose ended with an optimistic message where he explained why he’s glad Morant is going through this.
“He’s a 23-year-old young man, nobody got arrested, nobody got injured, and I’m hearing too many stories about pistols, ok?” Rose said. “Allegedly with the 17-year-old kid, allegedly with the Indiana Pacers staff, last night on IG Live, I saw the video like you guys did brandishing the gun. The next step to that is now recovery, and I believe he’s on that path, I’m happy that he’s on that path.
“He’s gonna return, and he’s gonna be a better person, and because of all of this taking place, he’s gonna be able to live his full potential.”
Hot off the release of her new single, “16,” BIA took to the Rolling Loud stage in California today (March 4) to perform it live for the first time.
Over a blazing beat, BIA recalls leaving home when she was younger, on a mission to pursue her dreams.
“Take me back to when I lost my job, I told ’em, ‘F*ck you’ / I came from a place where there’s nobody to look up to / We weren’t broke together, tell me how the f*ck I trust you? / I left mama house, b*tch, I ain’t have nowhere to run to,” she raps on the song’s chorus.
During her performance, she maintained an energy of perseverance throughout, remembering everything that she’s been through has led her here.
At the moment, BIA is hard at work on her upcoming album. In an interview with Variety last year, she noted how Epic Records has been instrumental in helping her manifest her dreams.
“They’re super hands-on with me, even down to my product managers and digital team,” she said. “You gotta really know an artist if you’re trying to market them. They know me and really allow me to be my best, most authentic self.”

Tucka Da Huntaman x Francion — “Let Me Find Out”
Around the 17:44 mark, Bleek returns to Meech to admit that he believes Meech’s offer is true. He asks if it’s still on the table and Meech confirms that the offer is available to him as long as Terrell and Meech’s cousin James are left out of it.

Cicero — “80s Rap 4”
Around the 44:03 mark, this song plays in Detective Bryant’s son Kevin’s headphones as B-Mickie steps into the house to find the gun he used to kill Jay Mo and Kato. Before he begins the frantic search, B-Mickie puts a bag over Kevin’s head and traps him in a closet.
