Ari Lennox’s Age/Sex/Location Tour kicked off a few days ago in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is receiving rave reviews from attendees. With this 27-city North American tour intentionally being her last full-length tour, fans are urged to know which of her songs will make the final setlist. The DMV-area native has a total of seven solo bodies of work in her discography, her latest being her sophomore album, Age/Sex/Location, which leaves her with dozens of songs to choose from.

Fellow sultry singer Alex Vaughn serves as the tour’s opener, setting the perfect mode for each show. One Twitter user shared the setlist from the show they attended online to prepare other ticket holders for the emotional roller coaster the live show would send them on thanks to songs like “Waste My Time” and “POF.”

Kyrie Irving’s time with the Brooklyn Nets may be coming to an end. According to a report by Shams Charania of The Athletic, Irving, who is in the midst of the final year of his contract before hitting unrestricted free agency this summer, has gone to the team’s front office and request a move ahead of next week’s trade deadline.

The report was confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, who did not confirm whether or not Irving explicitly told the team that he will walk away if he becomes a free agent in the summer. Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, meanwhile, tweeted that the two sides could not come to terms on an extension.

Irving is not the first Nets star to request a trade in recent months, as Kevin Durant told the front office he wanted a move over the summer. Brooklyn held firm, though, and did not send Durant elsewhere, which led to Durant withdrawing his request and having one of his best seasons as a professional during the 2022-23 campaign prior to an MCL injury that he suffered a few weeks back.

But despite Brooklyn sitting at 31-20, good for fourth place in the Eastern Conference, Irving would like to pursue greener pastures. His year has been mired in controversy, as he was suspended by the team over a saga where he refused to denounce antisemitism after sharing an antisemitic film to his Twitter account. Before the season began, there was speculation that Durant’s desire to leave Brooklyn could lead to the team opting to part ways with Irving, too, as the Los Angeles Lakers were reportedly in the market to acquire his services. It is unclear of L.A. would still like to bring him on board.

Netflix definitely knows when it has a hit on its hands. Just two weeks after it premiere, That ’90s Show has already been renewed for a second season. Not only that, but the That ’70s Show follow-up will be touting way more episodes when it returns. While Season 1 arrived with 10 episodes, Season 2 will reportedly have 16 episodes, which is almost double the amount.

“All of us at That ’90s Show were beyond excited by the warm, enthusiastic response to our first season,” series co-creator and showrunner Gregg Mettler said in a statement to TVLine. “We can’t wait to return to Point Place for another summer of laughs and surprises. Hello 1996!”

The comedy series brings back Deborah Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith as Kitty and Red Forman, and it’s like the two never even left. Kitty is as bubbly and welcoming as ever, and Red is the exact opposite of that. This time around, they’re no longer wrangling their son Eric (Topher Grace) and his gang of stoner friends. Instead, they’re looking after Eric’s daughter Leia (Callie Haverda) who brings a whole new generation of weirdo teens into the Forman’s basement for one wild summer.

With the notable exception of Danny Masterson, That ’90s Show also brought back the original actors like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis for well-received cameos. Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama were also along for the ride.

Beyonce is heading on a world tour in support of her latest album, last year’s Renaissance. This run is so important that the Senate Judiciary Committee issued a warning to Ticketmaster ahead of the pre-sale to make sure fans could acquire tickets without trouble.

But it’s also so important that an online shop had to shut down because of too many sales. According to TMZ, Abby Misbin, or “Trending By Abby” on Etsy, made so many sales because of the disco ball cowboy hat she made for Beyonce in June after her stylist reached out to her. She usually got 5 to 6 sales a week, but after the announcement of the Renaissance Tour, she made 60 in a day. Because they’re handmade, she can only make two a day. They cost $140.

As for how to scoop up tickets, Ticketmaster recently explained, “Demand for this tour is expected to be high. If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which registered Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist. A Verified Fan access code does not guarantee tickets, it just gives you access to join the sale. All tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If tickets remain, the lottery-style process will be used to invite more Verified Fans from the waitlist to join the sale.”

Armani White is one of rap music’s most promising new acts. Last year, the West Philadelphia native rose to the top of the charts after the release of his smash single, “Billie Eilish,” thanks to the push by TikTok users. Since then, the rapper has retained his online fan base’s attention with the release of his newest single, “Goated,” featuring Denzel Curry.

Making his debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, White delivered a powerful performance of the track. Although the track’s guest collaborator did not join him on the set, White’s angelic background vocalists and the live band made his absence an afterthought, if it crossed your mind at all.

White displayed his flawless breath control as he rapped each one of the song’s multilayered bars without so much as a slip, with the musicians onstage backing him up. The rapper’s performance proved that he’s been working on his craft and is much more than a viral sensation, he’s here to stay.

As he rapped, “How many times can I tell you I’m goated / Without n****s actin’ like they do not know it? / Why sir? See, every year, I’m gettin’ better as a writer / And when it comes down to the flow, I’m gettin’ nicer,” you couldn’t help but agree with him.

White may have held his excitement back during his performance, but after the video was uploaded to the show’s official YouTube channel, he jumped into the comment section to write, “I’m really proud of this one! I’ve been waiting to do Fallon for 12 years now. And I left it all out there! Thank y’all!”

The analytics on the track is still being reviewed, but it is possible that “Goated” could earn White his second RIAA-certified gold plaque.

Kevin Gates, a devout Muslim, is no stranger to fasting as part of his religious observances. But in a new interview with Big Boy, he boasted a dubious record for his longest fast with no food or water, telling the host he went for nearly a month without eating or drinking.

“Fasting is when you don’t put nothing in your body,” explained, somewhat erroneously. “Fasting is nothing. A dry fast is when you don’t eat or drink.” When Big Boy prompted him to reveal his longest stretch of abstaining from food or drink, Gates said:

“The longest I’d have [ever] did a dry fasting was like close to a month, about three weeks. No food, no water.”

It’s not the wildest claim the Baton Rouge rapper has ever made. He once joked that the motivation for him to lose weight was a baby trying to breastfeed on his chest and he’s revealed some … odd … sexual proclivities (generally, Uproxx coverage sticks to his music and performances like “Major League” or his Sessions appearance).

However, if anyone is planning to emulate his example, it’s worth noting that the human body is very susceptible to dehydration and other health issues due to poor nutrition. Gates even points out here that he has trained his body to be able to go longer periods without food. Basically, consult a doctor before trying new diets — even for religious reasons — and consider that Islam doesn’t restrict the intake of water during month-long fasts like Ramadan, because you really do need it to stay alive.

The 2023 Grammy Awards will take place this Sunday, February 5, in Los Angeles, California. Comedian Trevoh Noah will return as the ceremony’s host, many music lovers are curious about this year’s attendees. While superstar Adele ensures she will indeed be attending the event, other stars have kept their RSVP status a secret.

Well, given people that are on the fence about tuning into this year’s broadcast, the Recording Academy has released the first wave of featured presenters. The list includes multiple Grammy Award winners, Olivia Rodrigo, and Shania Twain. Despite being after to submit her smash single “WAP” for this year’s ceremony, Cardi B will also present at this year’s ceremony. Also, current Best Musical Theater Album nominee actor Billy Crystal will present.

Non-musical figures set to present during this year’s ceremony include First Lady Jill Biden, actor Dwayne Johnson, The Late Late Show host James Corden, and actress Viola Davis, who is nominated for Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording for her memoir, Finding Me.

If that isn’t enough, they’ve also shared a list of confirmed performers for the evening. Musicians Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, and Sam Smith will take over the stage for a performance of one of their songs.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 5, 2023. The ceremony will be broadcasted live on the CBS Television Network and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Pamela Anderson has been promoting a one-two punch of reflections upon her life. That would be Pamela: A Love Story, the Brandon Lee-produced documentary on Netflix, and Love, Pamela, her freshly available memoir. In the process, we’ve learned more about her terrible time with Kid Rock at the Borat premiere and how one of her five marriages has somehow been worse than the rest. As well, Pam has re-upped her disapproval of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy while describing the makers of that series as “a**holes” who should apologize to her.

It’s certainly easy to see why Pam feels that way. Although the show is meant as a guilty pleasure and literally functions that way (because it makes me feel guilty for enjoying it), the series almost entirely revolves around the theft of a very private intimate movie between Pam and then-husband Tommy Lee. Personal fallout abounded, but Pam’s professional reputation suffered, whereas Tommy was, you know, held out as a dude. And now Pamela is reiterating how she never profited from that movie, as IndieWire reports from a screening of the Netflix documentary:

“I don’t think anyone wanted to believe it … “Plus, we just let it go. After the depositions and all this craziness, and I was pregnant with Dylan, we didn’t wanna put any more stress on the baby. Tommy and I just said, ‘f— them, karma, whatever,’ we just left it. We really just tried to leave it in the past. So we didn’t do a press tour talking about what money we didn’t get. That was just dirty money. We didn’t want it. And we ended up OK.”

Fair enough, although one of Pam and Tommy’s sons, Brandon, admitted that he wished that his mom had pocketed something from the ordeal, and no one knows exactly how much money the sex tape grossed after Rand Gauthier stole it. Speculation abounds about it generating over $75 million, but again, Pam is doing just fine without it.

Ever since there was even a whisper that Ron DeSantis might throw his hat in the ring to be the Republicans’ presidential nominee in 2024, Donald Trump has been on the offensive. In addition to giving the Florida governor a fancy new nickname, Trump has threatened to spill all the secrets he claims to know about “Ron DeSanctimonious” or just straight up “kick him in the nuts.” But given how many former allies seem to be turning their backs on the former president, Trump has decided to take his intimidation up a notch and threaten the entire Republican party.

As The Hill reports, Trump refused to say whether he would definitely endorse the GOP’s presidential nominee if it’s not him. “It would have to depend on who the nominee was,” he said during an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt. Which is pretty much the same answer he gave when asked the same question in 2016, before he won the party’s official nomination. That could make him a liability (which is very likely why he’s saying that).

As The Hill notes, there’s a lot of concern among Republicans that if Trump does not secure the Republican nomination, he’ll shift his campaign strategy and run as an independent nominee — which, if MAGA diehards follow their leader — could potentially hand another victory to the Democrats.

While Trump is the only person to officially announce his candidacy for 2024, it’s expected that Nikki Haley will be next. In addition to DeSantis, Mike Pence and Mike Pompeo are also names being bandied about as possible candidates.
