The Kendrick Lamar ‘Mustard’ Meme Is Taking Over The Internet

On Friday, Kendrick Lamar dropped a surprise (and Taylor Swift-free) new album, GNX. By Saturday, a meme was born. On “TV Off,” featuring Lefty Gunplay, Lamar yells “MUSTARD” — or as it’s transcribed by someone on Genius, “MUSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD.” Is it a reference to his favorite condiment? Possibly, but it’s also a nod to DJ Mustard, a rapper and producer who worked on GNX, as well as Lamar’s No. 1 hit “Not Like Us.”

Lamar’s “Mustard” shout out is all over the internet, including brands like McDonald’s, the Minions, and Shrek. There are Simpsons references, Peanuts-style drawings, and TikTok edits. A pastor yelled “Mustard” during a church service, as seen here, and even Lizzo got involved.

Mustard seems to be enjoying all the attention.

“I’ve been literally trying to get a song with him for years,” the producer told Billboard about Lamar. “Before I even made that beat [for “Not Like Us”], I got to a point where I was like, ‘I’m gonna send five beats a day.’ I maybe sent him five beats a day for maybe three months. I’m still doing it right now just in case he wants to record something. I sent him that beat and then I think that day I would make it a point just to go to the studio to make a couple of beats to send to him.”

He added, “I don’t think I even understood how big it was until it went No. 1. I was like, ‘This is the biggest song I ever had in my life.’ I just wanted a song with Kendrick.”

Daniel Craig ‘Really Admires’ Chappell Roan’s ‘Guts’ When It Comes To Speaking Out About Fame

Chappell Roan has become primarily known for a couple of things in 2024: Bops like “Good Luck, Babe!” and speaking out about her problems with fame. Her openness about these issues has inspired other celebrities to speak out, and that list now includes Daniel Craig.

In a new interview with The New York Times, Craig said of Roan:

“I really admire the guts to say those things. Celebrity kills you. Really, it’s a terrible, terrible thing that can happen and I think you’ve got to really fight against all of the things that it throws in your face, because it’s so easy to be tempted.”

This comes shortly after Miley Cyrus also had Roan’s back, saying, “I wish people would not give her a hard time. It’s probably really hard coming into this business with phones and Instagram. That wasn’t always a part of my life, and I’m not a part of it now. I don’t even have my Instagram password.”

Yet another celebrity, Mariah Carey, also shared her thoughts on Roan in a recent interview, saying, “Well, I have been through my share of dramas and it’s not fun because you grow up thinking, ‘I want to be famous.’ I mean, really with me, it was always, ‘I want to be a singer. I want to write songs.’ But ‘I want to be famous’ was right there with it. I feel like it was probably because I didn’t feel like I was good enough on my own because of the things I went through growing up. And that’s not a good way to feel, you know?”

Diddy’s Request For House Arrest Until His 2025 Trial Was Reportedly Denied By A Judge

On September 16, Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken into federal custody amid his sex trafficking allegations. The following day, Diddy was formally charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Since then Diddy’s legal team has been hard at work trying to get the disgraced mogul released. After their requests for a bond were denied three times, Diddy’s lawyers have reportedly taken a different approach. According to US Weekly, Diddy’s legal team requested that he be released on house arrest until his trial, which is tentatively scheduled for May 2025.

But the outlet claims presiding US District Judge Arun Subramanian “immediately rejected the idea.”

“That is not going to work,” he said.

In the lawyers’ proposal they suggested Diddy be confided to his Star Island mansion in Miami, Florida. The property was one of Diddy’s estates that was raided by Homeland Security and local authorities in March.

They also offered Diddy’s heavily guarded Upper East Side apartment as a secondary option. Both offered were rejected by the judge. Instead, Diddy will remain at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.

The latest (and fourth) bail decision regarding Diddy’s detainment will be decided next week according to the outlet.

Adele Is ‘Sh*tting Herself’ Because She Does Not Have Any Plans For Her Indefinite Hiatus

After several extensions and multiple unforeseen postponements, Adele’s Las Vegas residency has officially concluded. Yesterday (November 23), Weekends With Adele wrapped up its monster of a run at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum.

As expected the “Chasing Pavements” singer delivered a tearful speech about Weekends With Adele ending. Although Adele was moved by the milestone, it appears her emotional reaction as more to do with Adele’s indefinite hiatus.

While addressing the end of Weekends With Adele and her upcoming “long break,” Adele revealed she’s “sh*tting herself” trying to figure out what’s next. In the clip captured by an attendee (viewable here), discussed her plans or lack thereof.

“[The residency] has been wonderful, and I’m going to miss [my fans] terribly,” she said. “I don’t know when I next want to perform again. I’m not doing anything else. I’m actually sh*tting myself about what I am going to do.”

Adele went on to joke about what she would fill her days with now that she won’t be consumed with show fittings, sound checks, band rehearsals, and more. “I guess I’ll just daydream,” she joked. “I guess that’s what I will be doing. But I can’t do that forever.”

She closed with a token of appreciation for the fans that made the trip to Las Vegas in order to see her perform. Adele’s long break is well deserved but fans supporters hope that she’ll at least occasionally release music.

The Commanders And Cowboys Played The Most Insane Final 3 Minutes Of Any Game This Season

commanders-cowboys-top
FOX

The Commanders and Cowboys played in. one of the funniest games in the NFL this season, as the two divisional rivals went back and forth with each team being on the wrong end of some massive blunders in what ended up a 34-26 Cowboys win.

The final three minutes was particularly insane, as it saw the game go from 20-9 Dallas to 34-26 with a truly outrageous sequence of events. The first was a touchdown from Jayden Daniels to Zach Ertz, with Daniels running in the two-point try to make it 20-17. On the ensuing kickoff, Kavontae Turpin let the ball bounce in front of him and had it roll past him for a near-disaster, before turning it into a touchdown return with a quick spin move and outrageous speed, making it 27-17.

The Commanders would then kick a field goal with just under two minutes to play to make it 27-20. A failed onside kick figured to be about the end of things, but it was truly just the beginning. Washington’s defense got the three-and-out needed to give their offense a chance at a miracle, and Daniels delivered for the second time this season as Dallas’ defense melted down, allowing Terry McLaurin to catch the ball and evade everyone on his way for an 87-yard touchdown. However, Austin Seibert had already missed an extra point earlier in the game, so it was anything but a guarantee they would tie the game, and sure enough a bad snap led to a rushed operation and Seibert hooked another left of the uprights to keep it a 1-point game (videos below).

On the ensuing onside kick, the Cowboys scooped it up and ran it back for a touchdown, which was the one thing that could keep the Commanders hopes alive, as they would get the ball back with time on the clock and a chance at another Hail Mary. Alas, this time Daniels’ efforts at a miracle ended up being caught by Dallas and the game finally ended with a Cowboys win that became far more difficult than it ever needed to be.
