SZA Falls Victim To A Mispronunciation Crisis In A Funny New ‘SNL’ Promo With Keke Palmer And Bowen Yang

As it Saturday Night Live tradition, this week’s host, musical guest, and a cast member lined up to film a simple promo for this week’s episode. Keke Palmer and SZA are doing the show this weekend, so they and SNL‘s Bowen Yang were enlisted for the newest promo.

Palmer starts by introducing herself and SZA before Yang takes a crack at saying his own name. He repeatedly fails, though, instead sputtering out variations like “Brown Yang,” “Bowen Young,” and “Andy Cohen.” As he spirals out of control, SZA chimes in, “I’m worried about you, Bowen.” He responds, “Yeah, I’m worried about me, too, Scissors.”

The second bit sees the three getting excited about the show, clipping along with each syllable for emphasis. Palmer changes gears by asking about where the bathroom is and breaking the clapping trend due to the urgency of her situation.

After this weekend’s SNL, there will only be two episodes left to round out the year. The December 10 episode will be co-hosted by Steve Martin and Martin Short, while Brandi Carlile will be the musical guest. The year’s final episode on the 17th will be led by Austin Butler while Yeah Yeah Yeahs are the musical guest.

Harry And Meghan (Who Are Being Compared To The Kardashians) Vs. William And Kate Is Apparently Getting Real Ugly

The trailer for Netflix’s Harry & Meghan begins with a simple question: why did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the duke and duchess of Sussex, want to make this documentary? “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors,” Harry responds. What’s happening is apparently pretty ugly.

The Daily Mail spoke to a royals insider about the “declaration of war” docuseries. The timing of the trailer is seen as Harry and Megan, who are being compared to the Kardashians because “they want all the attention they can possibly get,” sabotaging Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s trip to the United States. “One can only conclude this is a concerted publicity drive on their behalf to stoke up interest in this documentary and is designed to clash with [William and Kate’s] visit this week,” a source said.

They continued:

“The prince and princess’s high-profile trip to the States to shine a light on community projects in Boston and the environmental crisis is being apparently used as a platform for the Sussexes to create the drama and attention they so clearly crave on a personal level, as well as content for the multi-million dollar deal they have signed since quitting as working royals. While the Waleses will carry on with their duties, Team Sussex appears determined to remind America of their own ‘compassionate activism’ – one lucrative contract at a time.”

“It was definitely deliberate, without any question,” another source told the Times about the timing of the trailer. “But not at all unexpected.” Things will come full circle when Netflix’s The Crown covers Netflix’s Harry & Meghan in a future season.

Late Migos Member Takeoff’s First Posthumous Verse Has Surfaced On The New Metro Boomin Album

A few days ago, Metro Boomin revealed the tracklist for his new project, Heroes & Villains, but it turns out that only told part of the story. As initially revealed, the album only had a handful of listed features. The album is out now, though, and sure enough, it has more guests on it than initially thought. One of the more notable appearances comes on “Feel The Fiyaaaah,” which features the first posthumous verse from the late Migos member Takeoff (and an ASAP Rocky appearance, too).

Takeoff’s verse sees him engaging in some alphabet-based wordplay, rapping in part, “We the one they wanna be (Be) / Like the letter after A (Ayy) / I bought my bitch a new C (Chanel) / Then I took her to the D (Let’s go) / Said she wanna take a E (Okay) / Don’t go nowhere without my F&N (Brrt) / No Givenchy, I’m a G (G) / They don’t want smoke or the heat (Ha).”

After Takeoff’s passing, Metro Boomin wrote a touching tribute that read in part, “This not just one of my rapper friends, Take was a selfless and truly standup human being. Someone I could call my brother with the most confidence. His light was so bright and you could really feel God shining through him.”

Heroes & Villains is out now via Boominati Worldwide/Republic. Get it here.

Netflix’s ‘You’ Season 4: Everything To Know Including The Premiere Date, Plot, And Trailer

Netflix has been awash with true-crime documentaries about serial killers, but everyone’s favorite fictional Netflix serial killer will soon come back in You. That’s right, Killer Joe is up to no good again, and he’s about to devour your soul in this Season 4 poster, which has even left star Penn Badgley feeling “icky.”

Previously on You, we saw Joe’s actions skew closely to the Caroline Kepnes source material while he stalked and killed Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Mail) and a few of her friends in NYC. He later moved to Los Angeles and fell in love with Love (Victoria Pedretti), but that relationship took a turn when she turned out to be a killer, too. They got married, moved to suburbia, had a kid, and then they came to mutually-intended fatal blows with Love losing that fight. Joe then headed to Paris while seeking Marianne (Tati Gabrielle), but we can assume that this didn’t go well because Season 4 picks up with London Joe. He’s now known as Professor Jonathan Moore.

In the below teaser, we get to see his bearded doom emerge: “I’ve gone through a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond.”

Season 4 will be split into two parts. The first will arrive on Feb. 10, and the second batch will follow on March 10. Lucky Londoners will be able to catch the episodes a day earlier than their Yank counterparts.

We haven’t seen a full trailer yet, but it shouldn’t be much longer for a wait. Heck, we’ll possibly see two trailers.

As far as the cast goes, Tati Gabrielle will be back in some capacity as Marienne. New cast members include Charlotte Ritchie, who will portray Kate, who’s either a love interest or a rival, or maybe both. Other newcomers include Tilly Keeper, Ed Speleers, Amy Leigh Hickman, Ben Wiggins, Eve Austin, Ozioma Whenu, Dario Coates, Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Brad Alexander, Alison Pargeter, Adam James, and Stephen Hagan. Who will Joe stalk the most out of this group? Everyone’s a suspect, but especially Joe.

In the meantime, it’s worth remembering that Badgley felt slightly uneasy after the show jumped from Lifetime to Netflix and immediately flourished. This resulted in a flood of social media thirst for Joe, which was awkward for Badgley, but he has still embraced the role through Joe’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith era. He should have a jolly old time in London, too. Exactly how Joe convinced everyone that he’s professor material is anyone’s guess, but at least he gets to play with books again.

You returns on February 9/10 on Netflix, and you can relive the first three seasons now.

Prolific Father Nick Cannon Has ‘A Whole Hell Of A Lot Of Gifts To Buy’ For His 11 Kids In A Hilarious New Holiday Video

When it comes to family, Nick Cannon likes to keep it old-school in terms of size; in 1800, American women had an average of seven to eight children. Cannon has actually gone well beyond that, though: He welcomed his 11th child on November 11 (so kid No. 11 on 11/11) and his 12th is on the way. When the estimated global population reached 8 billion people recently, folks were quick to make Cannon jokes and now he’s getting in on the fun, too.

In a video shared on Cannon’s YouTube account on November 29, he wears a Santa hat and Christmas-themed pajamas in a cozy environment. Sitting with a laptop off to the side, Cannon begins, “It’s almost the holidays, and thanks to me, the world now has 8 billion people. But my job’s not done. It’s time to do some online Christmas shopping, and based off the baby-mama-to-kid ratio, we got a whole hell of a lot of gifts to buy.”

The video is presented as being sponsored by “BDF,” which is eventually revealed to be the fictional Baby Daddy Financial. Before that, Cannon hops on the computer and tries to get through his holiday shopping, cracking jokes about his many high-maintenance kids along the way.

Lindsay Lohan Dons A ‘Mean Girls’ Throwback To Introduce Santa To Pepsi’s Pilk And Cookies

This holiday season, why not pour a bunch of whole milk into a glass already filled with Pepsi then leave it out overnight? Santa will love it. Especially since he’s already loaded to the gills on dairy from every other household on the planet. It definitely won’t make him leave you coal or burn down your Christmas tree.

The idea was first popularized by Olivia Rodrigo, and now the Pilk craze (which may or may not be a real craze) has been picked up by the commercial marketing team at Pepsi. In selling Pilk to the world (and St. Nick), they’ve hired Lindsay Lohan — on the cusp of a true Renaissance — to don an outfit reminiscent of her Mean Girls dance costume and proclaim Santa’s taste in beverages to be “one dirty soda.”

There is no greater generational synergy then taking something that blew up on the Gen Z platform and sell it with nostalgia nods for the Millennial crowd. Maybe if they claim it has a soothing laxative quality, the Boomers can join on in. Either everyone will be drinking Pilk by Boxing Day or no one will because it sounds like a drink people only drink on a dare. Still, what a way to steal Santa away from his iconic Coca-Cola roots.

No disrespect to Lohan, but could Pepsi not afford to hire Glen Coco?

Lindsey Buckingham Posts A Touching Message About The Late Christine McVie: ‘Her Spirit Will Live On’

Following the passing of Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie, her bandmates are paying tribute to the late talented musician and songwriter. Lindsey Buckingham posted an image of a handwritten note to his Instagram on Friday night, which includes a heartfelt message about McVie and her legacy.

“Christine McVie’s sudden passing is profoundly heartbreaking,” Buckingham wrote. “Not only were she and I part of the magical family of Fleetwood Mac, to me Christine was a musical comrade, a friend, a soul mate, a sister.”

“For over four decades, we helped each other create a beautiful body of work and a lasting legacy that continues to resonate today,” the note added. “I feel very lucky to have known her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on through that body of work and that legacy.”

Prior to Buckingham’s post, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, and the official Fleetwood Mac account all issued separate statements about McVie’s passing to an illness.

“See you on the other side, my love. Don’t forget me,” Nicks wrote, dedicating Haim’s “Hallelujah” to her dear friend. “I thought I might possibly get to sing it to her and so, I’m singing it to her now. I always knew I would need these words one day.”

GloRilla, Latto, And Gangsta Boo Flip A Dirty South Classic With Their New Collab, ‘FTCU’

GloRilla, Latto and Gangsta Boo have dropped perhaps the most anticipated collab of the week. On their new song, “FTCU,” the ladies, both the newcomers and the veteran, remind everyone who’s at the helms of the club.

The song flips “Tear Da Club Up” by Three 6 Mafia, of which, Gangsta Boo was a founding member.

“Young, ratchet, rich and I’m rude as f*ck / these b*tches know what’s up,” Latto says, reminding her opps that while she may be running the game across various genres, she not the one to mess with. “Came in this b*tch with the stick / Don’t at me / B*tch, you know it’s tough,” she continues.”

On GloRilla’s verse, the Memphis rapper stays vigilant, as she raps, “I pray to God a ho don’t run up / All my b*tches jackin’”

In the accompanying video, Glo calls Latto up and convinces her to meet her at the strip club, where they are later seen dancing, throwing cash, and hyping up everyone in the club. Though Gangsta Boo herself does not appear in the video, samples of her vocals from the original Three 6 Mafia song can be heard throughout.

A$AP Rocky has dropped his long-awaited new song, “Sh*ttin Me,” just days after teasing it via social media. Two days ago, Rocky took to Instagram to announce the track would drop this week, and fans were ecstatic.

IDK Reminisces About His Childhood Love For Christmas On A New Song ‘Coal’

IDK has released his song “Coal,” which originally was an Amazon exclusive drop. The introspective track finds the rapper reminiscing on his childhood and past holidays. The first verse finds him thinking about Santa Claus and waking up on Christmas Eve, with a sense of humor over an incredibly catchy beat. “Mama looked at me and glanced / Trying hard not to laugh / I was five years old / And too young to understand / That if a fat white man came down the chimney / It would jam,” he notes.

IDK uses this same creative reflection to think about his current personal life, as he seems to be working constantly and getting older without retaining the lessons — until the holidays hit.

“Coal” follows a handful of equally-impressive singles from IDK this year, including “Monsieur Dior” in October and a collaboration with Denzel Curry on April’s “Dog Food.” The Maryland-based musician has been aiming to raise the bar over the years. “I’m in competition with myself and only me. And I’m whooping my ass every time,” he shared via a press release.

As of November, he also teased a part two to his May album release of Simple, which was produced by Kaytranada. He never truly seems to slow down — and “Coal” is the latest proof of that.
