Here’s Why A Reporter Thought Jack Harlow Should Be Included In The Young Thug RICO Case

Last night, Young Thug was arrested — along with 27 others, including Gunna — and charged with criminal conspiracy under the RICO (Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act. An 88-page indictment accused Thug’s label, YSL Records of being a gang, charging them with — among other things — armed robbery and murder. The indictment cites as evidence lyrics to songs such as “Ski” and “Slatty” from the group’s 2021 compilation album Slime Language 2, describing Thug’s appearance in these and other music videos as an “overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.”

Today, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis responded to reporters’ questions about the indictment during a press conference. Among the questions were issues of prisoner safety, with some members of the so-called conspiracy charged with targeting rival rapper YFN Lucci in jail, and potential sentences, which could see some members serve life in prison. However, one reporter’s question proved confusing not just for Willis but also for fans watching online. The off-screen reporter mentions a name being excluded from the indictment documents that struck rap fans as out of place: Jack Harlow.

“The indictment’s got Young Thug, and a bunch of other rappers,” he asked. “But there’s one name I was expecting to see, and I didn’t, and that’s Jack Harlow. Can you speak to that?” Willis, presumably unfamiliar with Harlow’s work — there’s a lot of that going around, to be fair — responded with a pat answer about making sure the case focused only on viable targets, but unfortunately for the reporter, the damage was already done as Twitter lit up with bemused and critical responses to his faulty information.

It appears that, perhaps in a rush to research potential questions for this afternoon’s conference, the reporter checked Twitter (to be fair, due diligence in this era) for background on the suspects. However, wading into those waters without the proper context and experience can be a bewildering experience for anyone and in this case, it looks like he mistook several joking references to Jack Harlow as proof of his YSL membership.

Although Jack and Thugger are both on labels distributed by Atlantic Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, Jack is actually a signee of DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s Generation Now imprint, also the home of Lil Uzi Vert and rising rapper Killumantii. Meanwhile, YSL is home to artists such as Lil Keed, Strick, and T-Shyne, as well as in-house producers Taurus, Turbo, and Wheezy. And while your average rap journalist could probably reel off these names from the top of their noggins, crime and city reporters would do well to double-check their sources as the case unfolds.

Some artists covered here are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

A ‘Game Of Thrones’ Stunt Performer Is Suing HBO For An Injury Sustained During The Battle Of Winterfell Filming

Despite ending in 2019, Game Of Thrones continues to cause uproar amongst fans and haters alike, though this time the series is in some legal trouble.

According to Variety, a stunt performer from the final season of the hit show is suing Fire & Blood Productions (owned by HBO) after an injury she sustained on set. Casey Michaels sustained a “serious fracture dislocation to her left ankle” while shooting scenes for The Battle Of Winterfell.

The documents, which were filed in January 2021, claim that the 28 stunt performers, who were dressed as a Wight (basically a zombie) were directed to walk off a roof “as if unaware of the drop, in keeping with the zombie-like nature of the Wights.”At the bottom of the drop were cardboard boxes and mats, which were not strong enough for all of the performers.

According to the claim: “the cardboard boxes are not durable and become damaged as each stunt performer lands on the box rig and also as each stunt performer climbs off of the box rig after landing.” Michaels was the last performer to step off the roof, landing feet first while wearing an armor of protective gear. Michaels has had several surgeries on her foot since the incident, requiring a plate and screws to be inserted and undergoing intensive therapy.

Fire & Blood productions, however, claims that the rig was “durable” and says Michaels did not “walk off the roof” as instructed. They added that the injury was “caused either by the Claimant’s failure to execute the pleaded stunt properly and/or with the skill and care of a reasonably competent stunt performer or by pure accident.” If the parties don’t settle, the case is expected to be heard before a judge next year.

Halsey Details How Her Longstanding Health Issues Have Gotten Worse Since Her Pregnancy

Halsey has long been open about the various health struggles she has faced over the years and now she’s really pulled back the curtain on how things have been since her pregnancy and childbirth.

In a lengthy video shared on her Instagram Story, Halsey notes, “My health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth. I started getting really, really, really sick, and I’ve been kind of sick pretty much most of my adult life, but it started getting really bad.”

She goes on to note the various things with which she has been diagnosed. She assures fans, though, that overall, she’s doing alright. In fact, she’s in rehearsals for her upcoming tour, noting, “I’m really excited and really confident that I’m going to be able to do it in a way that’s healthy, where I can perform my best for all of you. And honestly, I’m just so excited to be going on tour because it just keeps my mind off everything and it keeps my body healthy because I’m so active and I’m doing cardio and stuff every day, and I get to see you guys.”

Read a transcript of Halsey’s video below, along with the TikTok video and Instagram post she referenced in her Instagram Story.

“So, I know that a lot of you guys have been wondering what’s going on with my health, and some of you saw a TikTok I posted yesterday basically confirming that I’m allergic to, like literally everything. So I just wanted to give you a little update.

Obviously, my health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth. I started getting really, really, really sick, and I’ve been kind of sick pretty much most of my adult life, but it started getting really bad. I was hospitalized for anaphylaxis a few times and I had tons of other stuff going on. Basically, after seeing, like, a hundred thousand doctors, I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjögren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, POTS, and I’m still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things. It could potentially be another type of autoimmune disease, and I’ve known I’ve had autoimmune issues for most of my life, especially having endometriosis, but it kind of has been exacerbated since I had Ender.

But I’m keeping you guys updated because I know that you’re seeing the heart monitor and that I’m sick all the time, and I don’t want anybody to be worrying. I am on a treatment plan right now, I’m in rehearsals for the tour. I’m really excited and really confident that I’m going to be able to do it in a way that’s healthy, where I can perform my best for all of you. And honestly, I’m just so excited to be going on tour because it just keeps my mind off everything and it keeps my body healthy because I’m so active and I’m doing cardio and stuff every day, and I get to see you guys.

And I haven’t toured in so long, I just can’t tour the way that I used to when I was younger where I basically didn’t give a sh*t about my body and worked insane hours and days in a row. I’ve learned a lot about doing my job under the conditions that I’m experiencing. I’m posting this just because I want to keep you guys updated and because I know a lot of you have the same conditions. I’m here, I’m ready to go, I’m in rehearsals, tour is going to be f*cking crazy and awesome.

A lot of it is going to kind of be delving into this weird body horror about everything that I’ve been experiencing, feeling like my body is rebelling against me a little bit. And that started, you know, with being pregnant and my experience being pregnant, and now has evolved into something totally beyond pregnancy, beyond postpartum. I have a lot of angst, and I have a lot of energy, and I have a lot of confusion that I want to get out on that stage. Hopefully I’ve built a show that really reflects that and can be a cathartic place for you to release some tension if you are feeling or have ever felt similarly.

So, love you guys, can’t wait to see you. I’m counting down the days. It’s going to be f*cking nuts, and I can’t wait to see you there.

FIFA Will Launch Its Own Series Of Games After Its Partnership Ends With EA Sports

On Tuesday, EA Sports officially announced the end of its partnership with FIFA. Their partnership led to over two decades of games developed by EA featuring the FIFA name on the box but in July of 2023 EA will move forward with a new name, EA Sports FC.

While other soccer games have always existed, such as Pro Evolution Soccer, it’s rare to see a developer and a major name like FIFA end exclusivity rights like this. Having the FIFA name on the box has historically been very powerful and that power is something FIFA is going to continue trying to use through developers that aren’t EA. In a press release, FIFA announced that it would use the lack of exclusivity to explore a larger variety of soccer games. FIFA President Gianni Infantino also assured his belief that the brand behind FIFA was more powerful than any other soccer game out there.

“I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football fans. The FIFA name is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on – the constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain THE BEST.”

In one way, it makes sense why Infantino would feel this way about the FIFA brand on its video games. They’re one of the largest brands in the world and that familiarity on the box has a chance to draw in fans for that alone. Also, the prospect of having more than one or two soccer games every year to choose from is an enticing one, but as we saw with the disastrous launch of Konami’s eFootball it takes more than just branding to make a strong soccer game. EA Sports already has a strong foundation to build its new games on, plus partnerships with most major leagues and clubs across the world.

We’ll see what this means when its first game, FIFA World Cup Quatar 2022, launches. This may be the start of a new great rivalry in sports gaming, or it could be a final whimper from a major brand desperate to stay relevant in video games.

Bobby Moynihan Once Got ‘Attacked’ By Danny DeVito For Impersonating Him On ‘Saturday Night Live’

Bobby Moynihan has only impersonated Danny DeVito twice on Saturday Night Live, but that was apparently enough for the SNL star to be “attacked” by the prolific actor outside of a party. Moynihan shared the story on Monday’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, and don’t worry, nobody got “blasted” Frank Reynolds-style.

According to Moynihan, the whole thing went down shortly after he did a sketch where DeVito auditions to play BB-8 in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Two of his buddies were in town, and they got quite the New York experience as Moynihan found himself being pulled behind a car by the iconic actor. Via Entertainment Weekly:

“Right after I played him on the show — that night, directly after the show, I had two of my buddies Mike and Rob, from high school with me. And I get them to the party and we pull up to the party and it’s the coolest,” Moynihan explains. “And I walk past a car and get, like, yanked.”

Moynihan said his first thought was that he was being assaulted. Nope — it was DeVito, who yelled “You think it’s funny playing me?!” The Always Sunny in Philadelphia star was only kidding about his anger though, adding “I love ya, kid.”

Naturally, Moynihan loved every minute of the encounter and called it the best moment of his career as any sane person would. “I just got attacked by Danny DeVito in front of my high school buddies!” he told Meyers. “I made it!”

Elon Musk Is Making No Secret Of His Plan To Reverse Trump’s ‘Morally Wrong’ Twitter Ban, And Of Course People Have Thoughts

On January 8, 2012, then-President Trump got booted from Twitter after refusing to stop (falsely) claiming that he’d won the 2020 presidential election. In the aftermath, he’s launched the dubious Truth Social platform, which he’s posted on less than a handful of times. It’s safe to assume that he misses tweeting about Diet Coke and “still drink[ing] that garbage,” even though Trump claimed (as mentioned by Elon Musk himself) that he doesn’t want to come back and prefers Truth Social.

Whereas Musk, who’s on the cusp of finalizing his Twitter purchase (for dozens of billions), refuted the claim that Trump pushed him to purchase Twitter in the first place. However, his “free speech abolutism” reputation is staying literal, and while speaking with the Financial Times, Elon revealed that he believes the Trump ban was “morally wrong” (because Musk wants no permanent bans), and he plans to reinstate Trump’s suspended account. As tweeted by Moshe Schwartz, here’s that video capture:

Well, some Biden staffers might be happy about Trump acting “crazy,” but you gotta know that Lauren Boebert is positively ecstatic. She’s already led cheerleading chants after initial word broke of Musk trying to tie down Twitter into his collection of toys before he tossed a cocaine joke in there for good measure.

As expected, people have thoughts about this impending trainwreck.

Will there be a mass Twitter exodus, or are these empty threats. 2022 is full of curveballs and drama, too!

People share unforgettable stories told by their grandparents, and some are just insane

It can be eye-opening to listen to stories told by our grandparents. For many of us, that might be the only connection we have to them.

Even the smallest glimpse into their former lives gives us insight–not only into their own personal history, but into the soul of a different era entirely. Of course, whether that inspires nostalgia or disgust depends on the story.

I, for instance, know next-to-nothing about my maternal grandfather, other than he used his job at a candy factory to cover the fact that he was in cahoots with an Asian mob. An odd thing to know about your grandfather, and I’ll never look at M&M’s the same way again.

stories from grandparents

Giphy

A Reddit user named LorieEve recently asked people to share stories from their own grandparents that they’d “never forget.” Some answers are short and simple. Others read like a sprawling novel. Some are hilarious; others heartbreaking. All offer a meaningful look into the past.

Here are 10 of the best responses:

1.

My grandfather was one of the earliest people to receive penicillin. His GP freaked out when he had a handwritten note from Alexander Fleming.” – melodicmusical

2.

My grandpa worked in a steel mill in Ohio during the 50s and 60s and he was robbed at gunpoint in the basement of said mill when he looked him in the eyes and said ‘nice gun, but mine’s bigger’ needless to say he was not robbed.

He was also launched out of a third story window and landed in a dumpster from a propane explosion. He had suffered 3rd degree burns and drove the other 3 people involved to the hospital where they received proper care. His scars are covered by his beard.

He was also involved in a helicopter crash that destroyed his back so he can no longer sit down very well. He also survived an airplane crash in the 50s when 3 out of the 4 engines lost power and caught fire. It was a military aircraft that had been repurposed after the war.

In the 60s he was involved in a car accident caused by 2 people who had just robbed a bank. He then helped the police chase them down in his partially destroyed car because he wanted insurance information.

There was also the time that his senile grandfather shot him in his back with a shotgun but luckily he was far enough away that the pellets didn’t penetrate very far.

In short, some of his stories may be made up, or my he’s literally John Wick.” – that_one_nerd470

3.

My grandmother’s brother was drafted in the Army and was sent to fight in the Korean War. He ended up in the 2nd Infantry Division. His division was caught in The Gauntlet and he didn’t make it back home. To this day, he is still unaccounted for.

Well, the day he left home the last time, my grandma went with him to the train station. She told me that the last thing he ever said to her was, ‘at least I made it back home for a home cooked meal before I left.’

She was probably well into her 70s when she told me that story. It still brought tears to her eyes.” – slider728

4.

My grandparents and all my relatives of that generation fled Germany after my great-grandfather was taken to a work camp.

My grandmother’s most haunting story:

She was about 14, walking with a boy in their town square. She had blonde hair and would definitely ‘pass’ for Aryan. He apparently fit what the SS thought of as a Jew (he may have been wearing a yarmulke or other garment, I never knew that part.) The officers stopped them and grabbed him, told him to stay away from Aryan girls. He tried to say something, but didn’t get to before they handcuffed him and dragged him away. They wished my grandmother goodnight and she never saw him again.” – DTownForever

5.

My grandmother’s family fled for their lives from Austria to the USA. Her father had been an outspoken political opponent of Adolf Hitler, and helped organize an anti-Nazi resistance in his hometown. Then Hitler invaded Austria, and somebody was kind enough to tip my great-grandpa off that his name was on a list to get shipped off to the concentration camps.

My grandmother barely remembered Austria or the move to New York City. But she never forgot a year or so later walking into a store with her father one day, only to have the shopkeeper curse him out and refuse to serve him as soon as he opened his mouth and spoke with a German accent. That incident made a deep impression on her. She credited it with teaching her quickly…just how shitty prejudice can be, especially in times of war.

She never taught any of her children her native language. An enormous number of German-Americans lost or refused to pass on their heritage language during WWII, because that wasn’t a great time to be visibly German in any way in the USA.” – hononononnoh

6.

My grandfather was a kid during the Great Depression. He once told me they had raccoon one year for a special Christmas dinner.” – FlokiTrainer

7.

This one’s more lighthearted than most.

Both of my grandparents grew up in South Africa, and dated throughout high school. Just as they’re getting ready to graduate, Ouma’s father decided to move the whole family to the US. Totally heartbroken, Ouma broke up with Oupa a week before the departure, then spent the next few days bawling her eyes out in between packing. To her surprise Oupa had ‘taken the news way too well’.

On the day of the departure Ouma and her family arrive to find Oupa waiting on the dock for them. Ouma figured he was there to see them off, until she realizes that the suitcases all around his feet are his. And when he went to greet them he was holding a letter from his parents for her parents, a ticket for their ship, and an engagement ring. Turns out that man had looked so calm during the breakup because he’d already been planning on going across the ocean for her.

They’re up in their eighties and still together now.” – Anxious_Cap51

8.

When my grandpa was 9 ish him and his friends were playing by the train tracks as people in their generation did. Him and his friends convinced a 4 year old who was playing with them at the time to get on a random train carriage where they then closed the door and told him he was going to Blackpool, he tried to frantically unlock the door but was too small to reach the lock.

He recalls watching this little boy’s face as the train pulled off from the station.

After an hour the boy’s mother asked them all where her son was where they just said ‘oh he’s off to Blackpool.’ Luckily at the next train station a train conductor found the little boy and took him back on the next train.” – Remarkable-Ad-1107

9.

My grandfather was quite the badass when he was younger, lots of stories I remember from him, but I’ve gotta share this story:

Context, I’m a second gen Canadian which makes my grandparents the ones who immigrated. They immigrated from the Netherlands, which is popular for their culture, food, and of course beer.

When he immigrated to Canada, he knew some English but not much…There was a man who greeted my grandfather which I don’t remember how or when, but regardless, they got to talking and the man asked my grandfather to ‘go for a beer’. And in Holland when you’re asked to go for a beer, it means go to the bar and go get a beer.

Note this was the late 60’s in Canada, and A&W was beginning to be popular. My grandfather of course agrees, to get to know more people around where he was going to live. The man brings my grandfather to A&W, for a root beer and a burger, so he was confused out of his mind not being able to speak a word of English in this new country, and trying to learn the culture. My grandfather then learned he hated root beer. He still has contact with the A&W man.” – I-am-johan

10.

My grandfather was a veteran of WWII, and one of the toughest but kindest people I ever had the honor of knowing.

One story from his military service he enjoyed sharing was his issues with driving on base. He was pulling up to his DI’s office, and went for a soft brake and park. Instead, due to how close the brake and gas pedals were in the truck he was driving, he hit the gas, and crashed into his DI’s office, stopping right at his desk.

While his DI stood there in shock and likely anger, my grandfather got out of the truck and just said hi. To which his DI responded ‘Hi? HI?! WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?!’

I miss my grandfather every day, and if there is a heaven, I hope he’s staying away from those trucks.” – SuburbanDJ

How Signature Sneakers Have Evolved Over The Years

There are a number of ways to indicate whether or not someone has achieved the title of being a superstar. Whether it’s an on-court honor like an All-Star selection or an off-court status indicator like Instagram followers, there’s no one perfect way to determine whether or not a basketball player has earned that distinction.

In today’s Dime Breakdown, we decided to take a look at one of the best ways to identify a player who has transcended the game: signature sneakers. For decades, getting a signature line of kicks is a sure-fire way to indicate a player’s popularity goes beyond being someone who makes magic happen on the court.

We have to show love to Converse, whose Chuck Taylor All-Stars and Weapons became staples on the feet of the biggest stars in the game, before taking a look at how brands like Nike (and its offshoot inspired by that Michael Jordan guy), FILA, Adidas, and Reebok all have become synonymous with the athletes who wear them. Beyond that, we look at some of the names who are forever tied to sneaker culture, from Jordan, to Allen Iverson, to Shaq, to Kobe, to LeBron, and a whole lot of others in between.

‘Multiverse Of Madness’ Screenwriter Michael Waldron On All The Strange Spoilers

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness subverted expectations by, instead of trying to top the emotional meeting of three Spider-Mans in No Way Home, just pulling the rug out after a stoic introduction of characters like Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier. After years of speculation about the X-Men joining the MCU and rumors of John Krasinski being Reed Richards, or the introduction of Captain Carter – all these things finally happen and all of them were brutally murdered within minutes. It’s all very funny.

Screenwriter Michael Waldron – who previously wrote Loki and, next, will take on a yet-untitled Star Wars movie – knew there was a balance to hit. He wanted people to be surprised, but, at the same time, not … mad. There’s a fine line between subverting expectations and trolling, and Multiverse of Madness, hilariously, comes close to the second. But, as Waldron explains, with Sam Raimi directing, this is the way it should be, as opposed to something with more, say, “lore.”

Also, Waldron took delight in reading the rumor sites a Marvel kind of ran a disinformation campaign with its official marketing. And, yes, Waldron would have loved to have had Tom Cruise on board as Iron Man – it was discussed – but it was never really a possibility. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have future ideas for Cruise that also won’t happen.

The movie did gangbusters, but were you ever worried? Because it’s a weird movie and it’s following No Way Home

I don’t know. This is my first time. This is the first movie I’ve written, so this is my first time “watching the box office.” Like, “Oh, this is fun.” I mean, really, you just want people to like it. And it seems like people do, and people are seeing it if nothing else.

I think people got in their heads, “This is going to change everything. Here come the X-Men.” But then you pulled the rug out. What’s the balance of, “I kind of hope they think that a little bit. So it’s funny when they see the movie.” But at the same time they aren’t mad.

Right. Yeah. You want to subvert expectations, but you don’t want to make fun of the audience for going to see the movie. It doesn’t want to feel like a Tim and Eric thing too much.

But at the same time, I laughed out loud when John Kransinki gets turned into string cheese. Because everyone’s been asking that poor guy for two years if he’s going to be Reed Richards, and then he shows up and dies five minutes later. It’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

Yeah. It’s amazing. Look, and I see it, I see it in the response, and I see it even in the audiences, the movie is so load-bearing in terms of expectations. There are people who come in with expectations because what they care about most is WandaVision. There’s people who come in with expectations, because what they care about most is Doctor Strange. There’s people there because they think it’s going to be like the next big step in the MCU mythology, like Captain America: Civil War.

But it’s interesting because it’s following No Way Home, which does combine all these beloved Spider-Man characters. And then this one does the opposite, just kind of pulls the rug out, where people were expecting it to go bigger.

Yeah, we couldn’t do the same thing. And I don’t think Sam had any interest in doing the same thing. That’s also Sam’s thing. And Sam isn’t necessarily who you’d want to make that movie. You want Sam to make the movie that feels subversive and rug pulling.

Where is the intersection between you and Sam Raimi in that? Do you write to his style? This movie even ends with the classic Raimi “everything is fine … no it’s not!” shot.

It was me trying to push him to be more like the Evil Dead Sam. I was even like, I want to do Quick and the Dead. Even down to trying to get an ear for that dialogue and stuff, just because I felt like it would feel like something kind of different in the MCU and it would feel cool. Sam, to his credit, wanted to make a great MCU movie for Kevin and everything. It’s like dead Strange is a great example, the zombie at the end, where I brought that idea to Sam. He’s like, “This is cool, but I don’t want to just do it just because I’m Sam Raimi and because everybody’s like, oh, he is doing the zombie.” It’s like, we’ve got to make sure that we’re not just playing it for laughs and that it really is like that we’re leaning into the fact that this is Strange breaking the rules again.” He didn’t want to just play the hits.

I get why he felt that way around the time of his Spider-Man movies. But I don’t think today he has to worry people think he can only do Evil Dead type movies.

Well, and I think you see that. I mean, what’s amazing is like when times get tough, people do default to what they do best. And it’s like, what Sam does best is the best camera work we’ve ever seen. And so it’s when we were under pressure is when the most inventive, craziest shit was going down in our movie, because that’s when Sam was in his sweet spot.

Whose idea was the Pizza Papa?

I think Bruce Campbell actually coined Pizza Papa. I think that was us on the day trying … it was just a lot of improv.

Was it always going to be a pizza guy?

It was always going to be a pizza guy. And it was always going to go down like that, but I think it was great.

Was that your idea, or was that Sam’s idea? The pizza guy?

That was my idea.

See, you should do the rug pulling with Star Wars, too. You should be like, “Fans, do you love Mr. Dash Rendar? Well, he’s back, played by Tom Cruise.” And then he dies within five minutes. I would laugh.

If I can get Tom Cruise as Dash Rendar, I’m fucking in. I’ll give him 10 minutes.

Speaking of Tom Cruise, did you enjoy reading the rumor sites about what was going to happen in Multiverse of Madness? There was that rumor Tom Cruise was going to play…

Iron Man.

That was like everywhere.

I mean, that had come up, for me and our producers to Kevin. Because, of course, we were talking about every near miss, like every “almost cast person.” And there was always that rumor way back in the day, before the MCU, that Tom Cruise was going to play Iron Man. But it was just never a possibility because he was shooting the new Mission: Impossible. But, of course, I was like, yeah, this would be great. I wish Tom Cruise was in this. I would be thrilled.

Well, now the stars aligned for Dash Rendar.

Exactly.

He’d be like, “Look, I can’t do two of these in a row.” But now, he’s Dash.

No good idea goes to waste. Instead of the iconic Iron Man, he plays the iconic Dash Rendar.

It almost feels like you guys put out a disinformation campaign on this movie.

Yes, totally. That’s a credit to marketing that they hid the ball on Wanda being the villain. And it’s like, yeah, I don’t know what you’d think if you didn’t know what was actually in the movie, who you expected the bad guy to be.

Like putting Patrick Stewart’s voice in the commercial. Because then it’s like, here we go. And then you see the movie and…

Dead.

You can contact Mike Ryan directly on Twitter.
