In a battle between teams making their maiden voyages to the NBA Playoffs in their current form, the Atlanta Hawks secured a memorable Game 1 win over the New York Knicks on Sunday. Trae Young provided the game-winner for the Hawks on the road, earning plenty of attention in the process. After two days off, the Knicks will aim to even the score on Wednesday evening at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks were able to hold up reasonably well against Atlanta’s high-powered offense, but they had issues in containing Young. The third-year guard scored 32 points and dished out 10 assists, and he found little resistance in getting to his spots throughout Game 1. From there, New York struggled to score efficiently on a night in which Julius Randle shot just 6-fpr-23 from the floor. The Knicks did receive big-time contributions from Derrick Rose and Alec Burks in reserve roles, but it wasn’t quite enough to steal a win.
Atlanta wobbled a bit in the second half, particularly when its bench was on the floor. In the end, however, Clint Capela anchored a strong defensive effort and Young carried the offensive load as he has all season. The Hawks will aim to take complete control of the series with a win, though they have already secured a split on the two-game trip to New York.
From a betting standpoint, Game 1 went Under the total of 214 points and Atlanta covered the closing point spread of 1.5 points as an underdog.

The Washington Wizards were forced to navigate the NBA’s play-in tournament in order to reach the 2021 NBA Playoffs. The Philadelphia 76ers, on the other hand, enjoyed a week off before Game 1 over the weekend. While that could explain what was a slow first half for the top-seeded Sixers, Philadelphia pulled away and secured a 125-118 victory in the opener.
Bradley Beal led the way with 33 points for the Wizards, and Washington can take solace in their offensive showing. The upset-focused Wizards scored more than 1.15 points per possession in Game 1, shooting 56 percent from the floor and holding the halftime lead. In fact, Washington was able to do so without a great game from Russell Westbrook, who has carried a heavy workload down the stretch of the season.
However, Washington had no answers defensively for Philadelphia. The 76ers scored more than 1.2 points per possession as a team, with Tobias Harris (37 points) and Joel Embiid (30 points in 30 minutes) enjoying impressive games. Washington’s defense falls below the league average for the season, but Philadelphia gave the Wizards fits on the wing, and the 76ers shot just 10-for-32 from three-point range in the opener.
From a betting standpoint, Game 1 went Over the total of 228 points and Washington covered the closing point spread of 8 points as the underdog.

When it comes to summery, warm weather beers, it’s pretty difficult to top the hazy IPA (though, to be fair, we like a lot of beers this time of year). Oftentimes referred to as the New England-style IPA, this juicy, cloudy, tropical fruit-forward, subtly bitter beer is utterly thirst-quenching on a hot, sunny day.
If you’re new to IPAs (or the beer world in general), New England IPAs are known for their hazy, unfiltered appearance. Due to their mellow, juice-like, downright fruity flavor profiles, they offer a natural respite from West Coast IPAs with their dry, dank, sometimes overly bitter notes. And with West Coast IPAs having dominated for a long time, hazys have grown increasingly popular as a sort of IPA counterpoint — with breweries from Miami to Malibu typically offering a version or two on their menu boards.
Since summer is quickly approaching, we’re on the lookout for the best New England-style IPAs to stock the fridge with. To winnow the field, we decided to try a blind taste test. Without seeing names like Sierra Nevada and Two Roads on the can, it’s much easier to rate the brews on merits alone. As always, we encourage you to scout local breweries and support them as often as possible; but just in case you don’t have a brewery close, we used eight beers from well-known, larger brands.
Part 1: The Taste
For this test, I selected eight hazy IPAs you can easily find at your local grocery store or an online retailer. I didn’t just pick random beers though. These are some of the highest-rated New England IPAs on the market. I blindly sipped each, gave my notes, and ranked them according to taste alone.
Two Roads Teo Juicy
Firestone Walker Mind Haze
Lagunitas Hazy Wonder
Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing
Elysian Contact Haze
Brooklyn Pulp Art
Sam Adams Wicked Hazy
Bell’s Official Hazy
Let’s do this thing!
Taste 1:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
Immediately, I was struck with intense flavors of candied orange peels, pineapples, grapefruit, sweet malts, and a nice piney, resinous scent. The flavor is littered with lime peels, ripe, juicy orange, caramel malts, and a nice kick of bitter, floral hops at the very end that signal this as a west coast produced beer.
Taste 2:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
This beer’s aroma is all orange peels, lemon zest, and a little bit of pine. There’s not much else going on there. The flavor is filled with tangerines, limes, sweet malts, and just a bit of bitter hops presence. While crushable, it’s a little lackluster in the flavor department.
As far as hazy IPAs go, I expect more tropical fruit flavors.
Taste 3:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
This hazy, orange-juice like brew is filled with tropical fruit aromas of guava, mango, passion fruit, and pineapples. But that’s not all. I also noticed a good deal of grapefruit and lime zest. The flavor is just like the nose in that it’s all juicy tropical fruits and bright citrus flavors. It’s all tempered with a nice, sweet malt finish.
This is a complex, sweet, malty, hazy IPA that I plan to drink all summer long.
Taste 4:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
There’s a bouquet of aromas right off the bat. I smelled ripe berries, mango, grapefruit, and ripe oranges. There’s also a slight hint of piney hops as well. It’s swirling with notes of pineapple, mango, lime zest, and a nice subtle, bitter hoppy finish. It’s a full-flavored, multi-dimensional beer that I’d crack open on a hot, summer day.
Taste 5:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
On the first sniff, there wasn’t much going on in the aroma department. This was surprising because it’s cloudy and juicy in appearance. After spending a few more moments, I noticed ripe tangerines, biscuity-like malts, and some resin. There’s a surprising amount of wheat in the first sip as well as a wallop of lime zest, grapefruit, and lemon peels. Definitely lacking in the tropical fruit department, but overall a decent beer.
I’ll come back for a second look at this one.
Taste 6:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
The hop-presence is notable from the first nosing. I was greeted with aromas of grapefruit, orange, lime, and lemon zest as well as juicy tropical fruits. Taking a sip, revealed a world of orange creamsicle, pineapple, mango, sweet malts, and a nice, gentle bitter hops flavor at the very end.
In a list of great beers, this is by far my favorite so far.
Taste 7:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
As expected for a hazy, the nose is filled with hints of guava, mango, pineapple, and a lot of citrus. But there’s also a good deal of resinous pine. My first sip was filled with flavors like juicy orange, pineapple, grapefruit, and sweet malts. It’s more bitter and floral than most New England-style IPAs, but that’s not such a bad thing.
Taste 8:
Christopher Osburn
Tasting Notes:
This beer smells slightly dank with a good deal of citrus and wet grass. There are also some sweet malt scents in the background. On the palate, this beer isn’t as sweet as I expected. For a New England-style IPA, it’s fairly bitter with hints of mango and ripe grapefruit. All in all, it’s an okay beer.
Definitely not something to tell your friends about though.
Part 2: The Ranking
The best aspect of blind taste tests is the surprises. Regardless of how well-acquainted you are with the beers, not seeing a label is sure to make things interesting. Take a look below to find out how things ended up.
A recent addition to the world of hazy IPAs, Brooklyn Pulp Art was launched in March. It’s Brooklyn’s first foray into the hazy IPA world and it pays homage to the Pulp Art movement. The can is adorned with bright, vibrant art and the juice inside is brewed with Citra, Strata, and Simcoe hops and is filled with cloudy, tropical fruit and citrus flavors.
Bottom Line:
I’m a big fan of Brooklyn so I was surprised to see this new offering land so low on this list. It’s not a bad beer by any degree. It’s just not as hazy and flavorful as I would like.
This is the recent replacement for the brand’s New England IPA. It’s filled with Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend, white wheat, and Golden Naked oats as well as Galaxy, Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and Cascade hops. The result is a fruity, juicy, hazy beer well-suited for summer sipping.
Bottom Line:
I’m a Boston Lager fan from way back. This is why I was so surprised that I didn’t love this hazy IPA. I feel like it’s so close to being what it wants to be. It just needs to ramp up the tropical flavors a bit.
When it comes to Bell’s, you can pretty much spin around with your eyes close and grab any six-pack you see and you’ll be reasonably happy. Its inclusion in the hazy IPA world is Official Hazy. This double dry-hopped brew contains Mosaic, Citra, Azacca, Amarillo, and El Dorado hops. The result is a well-balanced beer that should appeal to hazy and hoppy beer fans alike.
Bottom Line:
Once again, I’m surprised to see that a brand like Bell’s produced a beer that is low in the guava, mango, and pineapple flavors hazy IPA drinkers expect. But it does have a nice citrus component that should appeal more to West Coast IPA fans.
Elysian is one of the most well-known Seattle-based breweries of all time. Its Contact Haze is brewed with El Dorado, Mosaic, and Southern Passion hops. The result is a cavalcade of tropical, juicy flavors and bright, vibrant citrus notes. It’s known for its well-balanced, highly drinkable flavor.
Bottom Line:
I enjoy Elysian Space Dust and many of its other beers, but I didn’t expect Contact Haze to land at this spot. But I’m pleasantly surprised and will definitely enjoy a few of these bad boys this spring and summer.
If you look at any hazy IPA list, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll find Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing, and for good reason. This 6.7%, hazy brew is loaded with Two-Row Pale and Munich malts, oats, wheat, ale yeast, as well as Citra, Magnum, Simcoe, Comet, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. It’s complex, layered, and incredibly flavorful.
Bottom Line:
There’s a reason this beer often makes lists of “best hazy IPAs”. It’s a nice mix of tropical fruit, citrus, and hops. All in all a pretty well-rounded summer beer.
This highly-rated beer from Two Roads is known for its unfiltered, hazy, juicy flavor. It’s a potent 8.2% ABV and is brewed with Hallertauer Blanc, Citra, and Mandarina Bavaria hops. The result is cloudy, double IPA filled with tropical fruits, citrus zest, and bright pine.
Bottom Line:
It’s almost unfair to include this hazy, double IPA. It’s so complex and full-flavored that it’s really hard to beat. I’m not surprised it landed where it did.
With a name like Hazy Wonder, you can expect a hazy, fruity, juicy IPA. Brewed with Sabro, Citra, Cashmere, and Comet hops, this Northern California-made hazy IPA has a nice mix of tropical sweetness and bitter, floral hops presence.
It’s the closest thing to a West Coast/New England-style IPA hybrid.
Bottom Line:
As a fan of Lagunitas, it comes as no surprise that this hoppy, hazy beer found its place at this spot. Potentially the most well-rounded beer on this list, Hazy Wonder is a perfect mix of fruit and bitter hops.
This is an immensely complicated beer. Brewed with two-row and Munich malts, as well as Torrified wheat, Blonde Roast oat, and kettled hopped with Mandarina and Cascade before being dry-hopped with Azacca, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, Cashmere, Callista, and Idaho 7, it’s an absolute flavor bomb.
Bottom Line:
This beer took the top spot for one reason in particular. It ticks all the tropical fruit, haze, citrus, malt, and hops boxes for New England-style IPA fans. I think it’s the perfect nationally availible hazy.

It’s been eight playoff games against the last two years, and the Los Angeles Clippers still have zero idea what the hell to do about Luka Doncic. The Dallas Mavericks will not complain about this, though, as their third-year superstar put on a show at the Staples Center on Tuesday night en route to a 127-121 win and a 2-0 series lead before the series shifts to the Lone Star State.
Doncic had one of his most impressive games of his young postseason career, scoring 39 points on 16-for-29 shooting and a 5-for-13 clip from the three-point line with seven rebounds and seven assists. This came despite attracting the ire of the Clippers’ top defenders, with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard hounding him throughout the game. The only thing he could not do, funny enough, was hit free throws, as he went 2-for-7 from the charity stripe.
In a sign of the 22-year-old’s mastery of the game, nothing seemed to matter. Doncic saw everything and responded, either by hitting some completely bonkers shots or setting up his teammates for clean looks.
He wasn’t the only Maverick to have a big night — Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kristaps Porzingis hit shot after shot, combining to go for 48 points on 17-for-26 shooting with a 9-for-12 clip from three. On the other side of things, Leonard (41 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals) and George (28 points, 12 rebounds, six assists) stuffed the stat sheet, but otherwise, Reggie Jackson (15 points) was the only Clipper to score in double-digits. And for the second game in a row, Los Angeles’ defense was wholly unable to prevent Dallas from getting hot from deep, as the Mavs went 18-for-34 from behind the three-point line.
Game 3 between the Mavericks and Clippers will tip off at 9 p.m. EST on Friday night. The game is set to be broadcast on ESPN.
The Los Angeles Lakers have drawn level with the Phoenix Suns. After dropping Game 1 in front of a raucous road crowd, the Lakers turned to their big guns to come out on top on Wednesday night, picking up a 109-102 win to make the series, 1-1, as the series shifts to Los Angeles.
Following his stinker in Game 1 which led to him taking responsibility for the loss, Anthony Davis came up gigantic. He lived at the free throw line and seemed to embrace contact in a way that he did not previously, scoring 34 points with 10 rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks. Davis went 7-for-15 from the field and 18-for-21 from the charity stripe.
It also helps to have LeBron James in these sorts of situations. The reigning NBA Finals MVP was not as dominant as he can be when the Lakers win, but his ability to control the pace of the game was huge, as were a handful of shots he hit down the stretch to keep the pressure on Phoenix. On the night, he scored 24 points and picked up a game-high nine assists.
Perhaps the most impressive thing from the Lakers’ perspective was how they always seemed to have an answer. Enlivened by the home crowd, the Suns did not seem deterred, even when a Deandre Ayton dunk midway through the fourth quarter gave Phoenix its first lead since the first half. Marc Gasol hit a three on the ensuing trip, to which Ayton responded with another dunk to put the Suns ahead, 90-89.
From there, the Lakers’ defense put on the clamps. Perhaps it was the lack of Chris Paul, whose shoulder injury (mixed with a good night from Cameron Payne) limited him in the second half, and his ability to make things happen, but L.A. was immense, regardless, ripping off an 11-2 run to put enough distance between themselves and the home team.
It was a champion’s display from L.A., which now boasts home-court advantage in the series. And while there were plenty of positives for Phoenix — their fight was admirable, Deandre Ayton was once again great with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Devin Booker went for 31, Payne was excellent off the bench with 19 and seven assists — Paul’s ability to contribute going forward looms large. Even before he was largely put on ice in the second half, the shoulder injury he suffered in Game 1 was visibly bugging him, and it’s unclear whether he’ll be able to provide an effective counter-balance to James’ floor general abilities going forward.
Game 3 of Lakers-Suns will take place in the Staples Center on Thursday night. The game is scheduled to tip at 10 p.m. EST on TNT.
Toosii has been feeding his fans with plenty of music over the last fifteen months. The Raleigh, North Carolina rapper’s latest release came earlier this month when he dropped his Thank You For Believing mixtape. Just a few weeks removed from its arrival, Toosii returns with a brand new video for the project’s outro, “Red Die.” In the new effort, the rapper surrounds himself with a formidable crew while reflecting on the hard times and celebrating the good moments in his life. The visual moves back and forth from moments of Toosii and friends standing in a parking lot to them posted up in a room drowned in red lighting.
The video for “Red Die” is just the latest in a string of visuals that Toosii’s released over the last few weeks. He previously delivered videos for “Shop” with DaBaby and “What It Cost.” He also accompanied Lil Tjay in an effort for “Love Hurts.” As for Thank You For Believing, the project sees addtional appearances from Latto (fka Mulatto) and Key Glock and altogether, it serves as a great follow up to Toosii’s 2020 efforts — Poetic Pain and Platinum Hearts — which helped put him on the map as an artist to watch in 2021.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been a menace since well before taking office in in the House earlier this year, but she recently went next level awful. An outspoken critic of public safety measures revolving around the highly contagious COVID-19 pandemic, she last week compared those issuing mask mandates in order to protect lives to the Holocaust. She of course doubled and tripled, maybe even quadrupled down on this offensive comments, but after nearly a week she was finally condemned by leading members of her own party. Even Ben Shapiro came for her.
Another person who rebuked her was Wolf Blitzer. The CNN anchor usually stays detached, rarely letting his personal life infringe upon reporting the news. But on Tuesday night he made an exception. He and Dana Bash both have family who fled Nazi Germany or were imprisoned, even died in concentration camps. And they brought personal history to bear while wondering how someone like her would use unimaginable tragedy simply to stir up her base.
“None of this should be political,” Bash said to Blitzer. “My grandparents were Nazi refugees. My great-grandparents perished at Auschwitz, you know. Maybe a yellow star was something that was, you know — a yellow star was horrible, being gassed, which is what my great grandparents were, is a whole different thing, and to compare that to the notion of public health and wearing a mask is just beyond the pale. I can’t imagine what it’s like for you, Wolf. Your parents were in slave labor camps.”
“And I’m the son of Holocaust survivors, and all four of my grandparents were murdered during the Holocaust, and two of them at Auschwitz,” Blitzer replied. “I never knew any of my grandparents. My parents did survive. They were young and strong and came to the United States and started a new life after World War II in beautiful Buffalo, New York, and had this great opportunity.”
He then reflected on the Jan. 6 insurrection, which saw some rioters dressed in Nazi wear:
“But I’ve often said, especially since we saw on that January 6th assault on the U.S. Capitol that guy raring that ‘Camp Auschwitz’ shirt,” he said. “My parents had passed away, but if they would have seen that, they would have said, ‘How is that possible here in the United States of America to see something like that going on.’ And if they would have heard the words this so-called congresswoman uttered, these ugly, ugly comparisons between wearing masks to save yourself and to save others, they would have — they wouldn’t have believed that this was possible in our country.”
Will any of this shame Greene? Considering she was even condemned by the Auschwitz Museum itself for her ahistorical and insensitive false equivalency, probably not.
The instrumentalization of the tragedy of Jews who suffered, were humiliated, marked with a yellow star, isolated in ghettos & murdered during the Holocaust, in a debate on different systems that aim at protecting public health is a sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline. https://t.co/FuPehwNv1o

But that doesn’t mean people should stop calling her out for crossing the line, and then some.
You can watch Bash and Blitzer speak about Greene in the video above.
Marilyn Manson’s alleged wrongdoings from his past have once again caught up to him. On Tuesday, New Hampshire’s Gilford Police Department revealed that an arrest warrant on assault charges was in place for the singer in regards to a 2019 incident. Video obtained by TMZ allegedly shows Manson, during a concert at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on August 18, 2019, spitting into a camera that was used as a part of the venue’s feed. The videographer who was behind the camera also claims that some of the singer’s spit landed on them, and as a result, they decided to press charges.
The Gilford Police Department says Manson will face two counts of simple assault for the incident. In a statement they shared on Tuesday, the police department said Manson and his representatives “have been aware of the warrant for some time and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges.” He could potentially spend two years in prison and face a $4,000 fine as a result of the charges.
Officials also made it clear that the warrant they issued is in no way connected to the sexual assault allegations that Manson has faced in past months, over which the Los Angeles County’s Sheriff Department and the FBI have reportedly begun investigations. Manson was also recently sued by actress Esme Bianco, who made human trafficking and abuse allegations against him.

When it comes to which games are offering players the greatest multiplayer experience right now, Dead By Daylight is one of the top contenders — if you can stomach it. The tense game is a blast, and features nearly 50 characters to either run the show or run from. While nearly every character has their own perks and unique playstyle, some of them come with an added edge: recognition. Since the game’s release back in 2016, Behaviour Interactive has joined forces with ten different properties to create some incredibly fun crossovers. From the one that started it all to the recently announced Resident Evil, these are all of the game’s many killer collaborations.
NINTENDO
Halloween (October 2016)
This is the one that first kicked off licensed characters appearing in Dead By Daylight, and honestly what an iconic start. The Halloween movies are a staple in the horror genre, Dropping just days before its namesake holiday, “The HALLOWEEN Chapter” introduced obsessive killer Michael Meyers (referred to as “The Shape” in the game), scream queen Laurie Strode, and the town of Haddonfield.
YOUTUBE
Left 4 Dead (March 2017)
While many assumed more classic horror films would follow, Dead By Daylight shook it up by incorporating a fellow game IP into the mix. In “PARAGRAPH I: Left Behind,” a DLC pack originally exclusive to PC, William “Bill” Overbeck was introduced to the game to the delight of many. You see, prior to Dead By Daylight, Left 4 Dead was one of the most memorable horror multiplayer experiences on the market, making this crossover all the more meaningful to fans of the genre.
NINTENDO
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (September 2017)
And now for the return of the hallmarks of horror! Later in 2017, Dead By Daylight introduced The Texas Chainsaw Massacre into the game through “PARAGRAPH II: LEATHERFACE,” another small DLC pack. The pack contained killer Leatherface, referred to as “The Cannibal” in the game. For those afraid of chainsaws, his inclusion made the game all that more terrifying.
YOUTUBE
A Nightmare on Elm Street(October 2017)
So, how do you follow up Leatherface? With Freddy Krueger of course. Freddy (aka “The Nightmare”) and survivor Quentin Smith came to Dead By Daylight as a part of ” CHAPTER VI: A Nightmare on Elm Street,” complete with the restless town of Springwood. While Freddy was a character folks surely saw coming, it came as a shock to some that Quentin was included rather than Nancy.
MICROSOFT
SAW (January 2018)
Seeing as how Friday the 13th already had its own successful asymmetrical multiplayer game by this point, it didn’t seem very likely Jason would make an appearance alongside fellow horror icons. So, instead of looking back, Dead By Daylight selected a decidedly more current franchise for its next DLC pack: SAW. In “The SAW Chapter,” killer Amanda Young (“The Pig”), survivor Detective David Tapp, and the Gideon Meat Plant were introduced.
YOUTUBE
Scream (June 2019)
Whether or not the series truly introduced Scream into the game with this update almost feels… debatable. For the game’s 12th chapter, Dead By Daylight brought in legendary murderer Ghost Face but did not accompany him with a location or survivor. In fact, nowhere in the statement does it even mention Scream, which could mean this Ghost Face is more or less a homebrewed version of the Scream character. However, fans did point out that the killer has the same mannerisms as the movie killer — including little things like how he wipes blood from his knife. The line is blurry with this one.
MICROSOFT
Stranger Things (September 2019)
Following the critical acclaim of Stranger Things, I think a lot of folks were ready to run from the dreaded Demogorgon in a horror game. In Dead By Daylight, fans got their wish with the “Stranger Things Chapter.” The chapter introduced The Demogorgon, of course, as well as survivors Nancy Wheeler and fan-favorite Steve Harrington. It also came with a new map, the Underground Complex, which is based on the labs beneath Hawkins in the Netflix show.
MICROSOFT
Ash Vs The Evil Dead (April 2019)
If all this shock and horror left you craving a bit of levity, your wish was granted in “PARAGRAPH III: Ash vs The Evil Dead.” Like all the previous paragraphs, the small DLC bundle simply comes with one character — Ash Williams — but introduces a lot of fun into the series. While he might not come with his chainsaw or “boomstick,” he does come with laughs.
YOUTUBE
Silent Hill (June 2020)
For the first time since the Left 4 Dead paragraph DLC back in 2017, Dead By Daylight chose to incorporate a horror game IP into the game and, perhaps more importantly, selected one that started quite the frenzy. Much like Resident Evil, Silent Hill is a staple horror survival series, however, unlike Resident Evil, the developers haven’t been doing much with the series — at least not publicly. The inclusion of Silent Hill characters Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason, and Midwich Elementary school has made fans suspect there might be a new Silent Hill game in the works.
YOUTUBE
Resident Evil (June 2021)
And last but certainly not least, earlier today Dead By Daylight dropped the trailerfor the next big crossover: Resident Evil. Following Silent Hill and the Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes, it’s a collaboration that feels natural but is exciting nevertheless. With so many iconic characters to choose from, we’re sure it was hard narrowing down on bringing aboard killer Nemesis and survivors Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy, but we’re glad they did. In addition, this new chapter comes with the Raccoon City Police Department map, the setting of Resident Evil 2. The pack will be available to purchase starting June 15, 2021.
Game 2 of the Phoenix Suns’ series with the Los Angeles Lakers promised to be testy. Emotions boiled over during the first game of the series, which saw the Suns come out on top, and as a result, the defending champions faced an unenviable situation against a frisky, up-and-coming team that can legitimately win four out of seven against them.
Of course, exactly how things were going to get testy was unknown until about a minute in, at which point it got more testes than testy. Anthony Davis stared down Jae Crowder after the veteran swingman picked up an early foul, and by way of a quick jumper that happened before Crowder could pull his hand out of the way, there was just enough contact to have him pick up a second.
But Davis also got his money’s worth, kicking out his right foot on the jumper and getting Crowder squarely below the belt.

— CJ Fogler #BlackLivesMatter (@cjzero) May 26, 2021
Plenty of questions will be asked about how, exactly, Davis did this and whether or not it was intentional. He ended up picking up a flagrant 1 as a result of this, and unsurprisingly, Kevin Harlan of TNT had a little fun with the whole thing.
“there is not a lot of protection down there though, unfortunately for crowder”
Here’s to hoping Crowder’s ok, because this looked like it hurt a lot.
