Guapdad 4000 And P-Lo Look To Satisfy Their Partners’ Bedroom Needs In The Wacky ‘She Wanna’ Video

Nearly two years removed from his debut album, Dior Deposits, Guapdad 4000 is gearing up to release his upcoming effort, 1176 with Illmind. The Oakland rapper takes one step closer to the project’s release which his latest single, “She Wanna” featuring fellow Bay Area act, P-Lo. The track is a play off Ying Yang Twins’ “Wait (The Whisper Song)” and arrives with a wacky visual that falls in line with Guapdad’s unique personality.

After waking up next to a pair of women, the rapper quickly declares that he’s dealing with someone who wants to “f*ck all the time.” He proceeds to steal a few credit cards before getting ready for the day. For the rest of the video, we see him receive a fresh batch of cookies, caress the pregnant belly of the presumed mother of his child, show off some dance moves, and more. As for P-Lo, his appearances in the video are limited to his face camouflaged onto the different colored walls in the house the video was shot at.

“She Wanna” is the second single from the upcoming album following “How Many” which is produced by Illmind. Shortly before the song was released, the producer showed love to Guapdad in a warm post. “I’m so proud of Guapdad and I’m proud of myself because we challenged each other,” he said. “That pressure made some diamonds and we can’t wait to show this project to the world. This single is the beginning of what’s to come.” Guapdad also confirmed that the new album would arrive on March 19.

Beyonce Thanks Meghan Markle For Her ‘Courage And Leadership’ In A Message Of Support

One of the few ways Beyonce directly communicates with her fans is through her website, Beyonce.com, where the queen of pop frequently posts updates and messages of support to friends and fellow celebrities. Today, she used that space to stand in solidarity with Meghan Markle, the American actress of the show Suits, mother of Archie, wife of Harry Mountbatten-Windsor, and once known as the Duchess Of Sussex. Markle was the first person of color to marry into the British monarchy when she wed Prince Harry in 2018, and as an exclusive interview with Oprah revealed this past weekend, the prejudicial treatment she faced because of this was nearly unbearable.

Luckily, Meghan and Harry’s bond was strong enough that the pair decided to step back from their roles within the royal family, and come to live in America, instead. But as Markle shared in Sunday’s bombshell interview, the environment was so toxic before reaching this decision that she was driven to the point of suicidal ideation. Given all that context, it is probably quite a balm to have a legendary figure like Beyonce stand with her. “Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership,” Beyonce wrote alongside a photo of herself and Meghan at The Lion King premiere. “We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”

As always, Beyonce says it best. Then again, John Oliver’s predictions weren’t too far off either.

Mumford And Sons’ Winston Marshall Announces A Leave Of Absence To ‘Examine My Blindspots’

Mumford And Sons’ banjo player Winston Marshall came under fire after he recently praised known right-wing agitator Andy Ngo in a social media post. Over the weekend, Marshall took to Twitter to share with his followers that he had recently completed Ngo’s book, titled Unmasked, which details antifa’s, as Ngo puts it, “radical plan to destroy democracy.” In the tweet, he said, “Finally had the time to read your important book” and called Ngo a “brave man.” Fans quickly condemned him for the post and Marshall deleted it a couple of days later, according to Consequence Of Sound. Now, he’s decided to take a leave of absence from the band.

Marshall made the announcement through a statement, which he shared on Twitter. “Over the past few days I have come to better understand the pain caused by the book I endorsed,” he wrote. “I have offended not only a lot of people I don’t know, but also those closest to me, including my bandmates and for the I am truly sorry. As a result of my actions I am taking time away from the band to examine my blindspots.” He added, “For now, please know that I realise how my endorsements have the potential to be viewed as approvals of hateful, divisive behaviour. I apologise, as this was not at all my intention.”

‘Schitt’s Creek’ Star Annie Murphy Is Joining Natasha Lyonne For Season 2 Of ‘Russian Doll’

Here’s a case of two great things that should be great together: Annie Murphy, hot off her long-due Emmy for Schitt’s Creek, will be heading for another great show, which is to say Russian Doll. How powerful will the combined forces of time-stuck Natasha Lyonne and the one who made Alexis Rose a consistent treat over six seasons? You’ll have to wait and see.

It’s not clear how Murphy will fit into the show, much is it’s not clear how Lyonne will find a way to keep the show’s narrative going. Over its eight episodes, the first season of the Netflix show managed to find creative ways to keep its Groundhog Day-esque premise going. One of them, of course, was to simply let Lyonsne, its co-creator/co-director/co-writer/main star, go, giving her a welcome chance to take center stage after stealing so many movies and shows as a supporting player. (Heads-up, she can be seen playing classic actress Tallulah Bankhead in Tyler Perry’s The People vs. Billie Holiday.)

As for Murphy, you’ll be seeing her a lot sooner when her AMC show Kevin Can F*ck Himself, created by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack and centered around the life of a sitcom wife, debuts, likely this summer.

Sukihana And Saucy Santana Keep It Raunchy And Risque In Their Video For ‘Food Stamp H*e’

Sukihana is making it very hard to ignore her growing presence in the rap game. The Florida native has delivered her latest impressive tracks thanks to “Food Stamp H*e,” her collaboration with Saucy Santana. It comes with a video, too, which begins with them as correctional officers tasked with watching a trio of prisoners clean up litter from a grassy area. After one of them goes on the run, Sukihana ends up injured due to a nasty fall from a horse. This is where things take a wild turn.

Meyers Leonard Will Be Away From The Heat Indefinitely As The NBA Investigates His Use Of An Anti-Semitic Slur

Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard found himself leading headlines around the NBA and beyond on Tuesday for all the wrong reasons, as video of Leonard using an anti-Semitic slur during a Twitch stream of Call of Duty began circulating in the early afternoon.

Leonard would issue a statement on Tuesday evening, claiming ignorance about the meaning of the word and how offensive it is, while promising to do better in the future. That excuse was hard to believe given the way he said it, pausing before doing so and belting it out in a derogatory manner, and that moderators on the stream were apparently deleting comments that tried to tell him to address using the slur as he continued on afterwards.

Leonard was banned from Twitch later that night, and the NBA and Miami Heat offered initial statements that they were reviewing and investigating the video. Late Tuesday night the Heat issued their first formal statement, saying the organization “vehemently condemns” any form of hate speech and noting that Leonard would be on an indefinite absence from the team while the NBA conducts its investigation.

What goes into an investigation of such a video is a bit of a mystery given that it seems pretty cut and dry, but we’ll learn in the coming days what punishment may be coming Leonard’s way from the league and it’s clear that the team will support whatever steps the NBA chooses to take from here.

Joey Badass Questions Life As He Knows It In His Video For ‘Trust Nobody (2 My Brothers)’ With DJ Scheme

After going more than two years without releasing much music, not even making guest appearances, Joey Badass made his presence known with a collection of musical contributions in 2020. One of those came with DJ Scheme on their track “Trust Nobody (2 My Brothers).” The collaboration is housed on Scheme’s Family, which he released in December and which also features Juice WRLD, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Yachty, Lil Keed, and more. Nearly three months after dropping the project, he and Badass return with a video for their song.

It begins with Badass and Scheme in the studio together, presumably listening to music together. The former gets then gets up and heads to a nearby room to pace around and lay down in thought as he examines his life and the relationships. “Tell me, who can I trust if I don’t trust myself?” Badass raps on the song. “Fallin’ victim to lust and needed someone else / I run away from my problems knowin’ I need some help.” The video concludes with the duo riding in the backseat of an SUV as they drive through the cold winter weather to an unknown destination.

Prior to the video, Badass joined Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats to remix “Cosmic.m4a” with The Alchemist. He also celebrated his birthday with a visual for “Let It Breathe.”

Disney Denied There Was Any Political Motive To Firing Gina Carano From ‘The Mandalorian’

It’s been almost a month since Disney sent Gina Carano packing, firing her from The Mandalorian over anti-Semitic tweets. She’s doing fine — she got a job making movies with rightwing punching bag Ben Shapiro. But conservatives still made a stink about it, some accusing them of targeting her for her political views. But when questioned about letting her go, Disney CEO Bob Chapek maintained the company is apolitical.

Tuesday was the mega-corporation’s annual shareholder meeting. As per Deadline, one person asked Chapek about their “blacklist,” noting that Pascal had also come under hot water for a tweet involving Nazi Germany.

Chapek sort of dodged the question, though not entirely. Without naming her specifically, he said he doesn’t “really see Disney as characterizing itself as left-leaning or right-leaning.” He then said that the company stands “for values that are universal: Values of respect, values of decency, values of integrity and values of inclusion. And we seek to have the content that we make reflective of the rich diversity of the world we live in. And I think that’s a world we should all live in harmony and peace.”

Carano spent her last months as a Disney employee stirring up trouble over social media. She made jokes about trans people, she spread misinformation about the 2020 election, and she ultimately compared conservatives who receive criticism for their beliefs to Jews who died in the Holocaust. While Carano drowned her woes in an interview with new boss Ben Shapiro, at least she did so while saying nice things about her co-star Pedro Pascal.

Meyers Leonard Has Been Banned From Twitch After Using An Anti-Semitic Slur

Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard became the focus of the basketball world on Tuesday, and not for positive reasons. Leonard used an anti-Semitic slur while streaming Call of Duty and, within a very short period of time, a firestorm formed. By Tuesday evening, Leonard released a statement of apology but, in doing so, he also claimed that he was unaware of the meaning behind the slur that he casually used on a live stream with the intent of it being derogatory.

Shortly after his apology surfaced, Leonard was banned from Twitch, the platform on which he uttered the slur. Twitch also offered a statement, per Jacob Wolf of Dot Esports.

“We do not allow the use of hateful slurs on Twitch,” the statement reads. “The safety of our community is our top priority, and per our guidelines we reserve the right to suspend any account for conduct that we determine to be inappropriate, harmful, or puts our community at risk.”

At the time of this post, both the Miami Heat and the NBA have indicated they are investigating the video, with no formal statements beyond that.

Prior to the official ban from Twitch, FaZe Clan released a statement, cutting ties with Leonard, who was prominently associated with the group as an investor and member — although his membership status was disputed by FaZe Clan in their statement.

It remains to be seen as to whether Leonard will incur any disciple related to his day job as an NBA player. Still, his actions were wholly unacceptable, and his apology doesn’t remove any future-facing accountability.

While most would take a break after a new album, Deante Hitchcock has been pushing full-steam ahead. The Atlanta rapper relaunched his freestyle series “NewAtlantaTuesdays” last week with a set of bars over Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III track “Let The Beat Build.” Hitchcock started the series earlier in his career as a way to bring attention to himself andto increase his following.
